I'm now officially one month behind on my cards. Seems like every time I planned on making Christmas cards I would remember birthday cards that I had to make right away. By then, I wasn't in the mood for Christmas. Hopefully, I'll get caught up in October.
I'm with you Debbie - one month behind and hoping to catch up in October. If we don't catch up pretty soon, we'll be making our cards in November when we should be preparing them to mail.
I make one inside sentiment for all cards, print it on a "shipping label" and stick it inside all the cards. I have my addresses in a computer file to be printed on labels. I just need to make a few updates each year and these are ready to go. I hand sign my cards, but generally don't write additional notes except to a few out-of-town family members.
The hardest part is paying for the postage, but I try to hand deliver as many cards as I can to save $$.
Even so, if I start the above process in mid-November, I'll be doing good to get them all mailed/delivered by Christmas. LOL!

wE SHOULD HAVE A GOAL TO BE TOTALLY DONE AND READY TO MAIL BY November 15TH!
Finally got my September cards done! The scan was awful. You can't see the embossed background no matter how I tried to manipulate it. It's a very simple card to make, but took me all day to do 5 of them because of all the interruptions, and I don't have kids at home.
Great cards, ladies! I loved every one of them. I was hoping tp work on my October cards today, but with so many interruptions, it doesn't look likes it going to happen. Hopefully tomorrow.
I'm getting so tired of Christmas cards!! And this was before I realized that it was actually November and I'm still two months behind, not one month. On the bright side, think of all this work I have done at this point, rather than cramming it all last minute until November and December. Yay me!
If I wasn't so hard on myself, I'd just call it done for the year. I'm making cards for a friend too, so I've done another 20 Christmas cards this month in addition to these two. But because I figure the CCC should be MY cards, I haven't counted them. What am I thinking!?!?
