Zella,
It doesn't matter how many cards you send. It matters what's in your heart and that you did send some cards. All cards are appreciated, even if it's just one.
Blessings,
Sue

I'm another OWHr I am grateful for the lack of need to support the military, as it means my brothers in arms are coming home!
With that said, after OWH dissolves, I'll be looking for somewhere else my abilities and enjoyment with making cards can be of use. Due to a difficult and frequently hotel based work schedule I'm not consistent with production of cards, and almost never with direct challenges. Staying with the 4 general themes OWH worked with meant I could still work on cards with selected if limited supplies and home made prepackaged "kits" in hotels (I've gotten pretty good at packing my "craft pack" and "kits" in a spare suitcase!).
Are there some general guidelines/themes that cut across whichever charity you're featuring for the month? It's difficult time-wise for me to meet specific challenges, but would appreciate general 'everyone looks for' type themes I could work on. That way when I've got a group of cards ready I'll know they're going to work for whomever the monthly designee is?
Any thoughts and guidance would be greatly appreciated!
There are so many of us displaced OWHrs, we truly are a subculture! Though the card-making operation will be over soon, caring and gratitude for our military will Never stop.
There are many and varied donation options here on SplitCoast. I'm still cleaning up projects for OWH but my inquiries have been warmly welcomed. You obviously have your impressive Hotel Creative regimen ready to roll. Jump on in!

thank you so very much for wanting to help, we appreciate it very much! WE do send to different organizations every month, a great way to spread the love! Looking back over the years and what is needed, generally every month we can use thinking of you, thank you's, birthdays, and encouragement.
Please let me know if you have any other questions...thanks so much and welcome!
