Hi Everyone! Thank you for taking the time to read this post! I am very
excited to get started with this month’s Card for a Cause sponsored group. This month will be Still Someone recommended by Melissa known as The Saucy Stamper on the message board here at Splitcoaststampers. This organization delivers lap blankets as well as cards to seniors in need. For more information on this organization please visit them on their website at: http://www.stillsomeone.org
I think it would really help boost their moral to know that a complete stranger thought about them and made them a card just for encouragement and hope. I hope that you will join me in this important cause.
There are no restrictions for your card donations. Anything that you can do
to help and encourage would be much appreciated. Some ideas for the cards would be: Hello, Hi, Thinking of you, Thank you, Wishing you all the best, Greetings, Warm Wishes, Let Your Light Shine, Smile, Happy Birthday, and Get Well. Please leave them blank inside. I have a pre-printed message that I place inside each card. Please try and send an envelope along with your card, if possible.
I'll be sure and update how many cards we have donated. Feel free to
post a link to the cards that you have made so we can all see your work! :0)
Please have your cards to me no later than November 30th.
Send them to this address:
Cards for a Cause #12
5316 25th Ave NW
Gig Harbor , WA 98335
Please do not hesitate to ask questions. Thank you in advance to all
that can participate! I know they will appreciate them dearly. :0) Julie.
Thanks so much for helping Still Someone, we have big projects for December, my personal goal is to deliver 230 cards to a local VA Center! We appreciate any and all help!

OK, I'm getting SMART this month and checking on the Cause thread VERY EARLY in the month...thank you for posting already! This sounds like a wonderful cause...and I will definitely get some cards done and sent before the deadline...
Hi Jen- I try and post the totals on the last day of the month and then the new mission for the month on the first. That way it gives everyone a little more time to prepare. Thank you for taking a peek at this month's mission. XOXO, Julie. :0)
Last month, I was all set to make cards and send them to you. However, my Aunt died and I had to travel up North. I was there a few weeks and recently returned to Florida.
My kids and I will send cards that you requested in this month's CFC OP.
I have one question: My kids made military cards that say "Thank You" on the front of the card. Would these also be acceptable to send?
Hi SGC and Melissa! Thank you so much for sending in such beautiful cards. SGC, I love the variety of cards that you sent in. The cupcakes are so cute. I love the green and red together. It's a really cute layout. The little birthday mouse hiding under the glittered birthday hat is adorable! The little squirrel with the saying, "I'm nuts for you" is darling.
Melissa- I love the Bella stamps card with the two girls and the saying "BFF". I think it's important to have a girlfriend that you can lean on and have coffee with every now and then and this cards reminds me of that. The "Thanks a Latte" is so cute. I love the colors. The Ho Ho Ho Christmas card is so darling. I love the colors and the stamped image.
I can't wait to show them! Thank you again for your generous donations! :0)
Thank you Jen! That is so sweet of you. I am looking forward to receiving them and then really looking forward to sending them out to such deserving people! :0) Woo hoo! XOXO, Julie. :0)
I received your cards today in the mail. Thank you so much. Your cards are so beautiful. I love the elegance to your cards. The delicate touch of rhinestones and the embellishments are just beautiful. Thank you so much for all the loving details you added to the cards you made.
Hi Lori from IA-
Your cards are so pretty and offer a great variety to offer to the seniors. What a treat for them to receive. The Happy Hello, the Just B Cuz, just too cute to mention!

Glad you like them! I thought of my own grandparents when I made them so I made them extra special!!
Hi Everyone! We are really having a great month so I want to say a big thank you and let you know our totals so far this month is 84. We still have a few more days in the month so I will make sure and post the grand total at the end of the month. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! God Bless You! XOXO, Julie. :0)
Deb from Verona, WI I received your cards today! You helped bring our new total to 105! Thank you so much. Your cards are so cute. I love the purple and teal color combination with the large thanks background stamp. I also really love the large "sun" like stamp with the french writing in the background and the brad in the center. The colors on that is gorgeous! I'll get them all boxed up and sent to Melissa within a few days. Stay tuned for the video within a couple of days as well. Thank you again for donating of your time and talent!!! God Bless You! XOXO, Julie. :0)
No, sorry I have not seen them yet. I noticed you mentioned UPS. Would you happen to have a tracking number and then we can determine when they will arrive? It takes me a couple of days to insert the messages into each card so I won't be shipping until Thursday. I'm sure with the holidays they are running a bit behind. If I need to wait another day or two I can ship what I have so far and send those along with a few others in a priority mail flat rate box. Let me know when you have a moment. Thank you! Julie. :0)
Hi Everyone! A big thank you to all the women that participated in making this month such a success! We had a total of 106 cards donated. You can see a video of the card donations below:
Julie,
Hopefully they will arrive in time. However, if they don't, can you please add them to the SA CFC?
I shipped through my work. I am taking a few days off and will not return until Monday. I will find the tracking # on Monday.
If you receive them before Monday, please let me know!
Thanks,
Cindy
