Here's one that uses some leftover Lumiere/Pearl Ex to make a faux mother of pearl background. Since I used the Color Challenge for this week, it looks more like faux turquoise.
This is my first sketch challenge, and it was very fun. I'm not sure how flexible the rules are on these challenges, but I made an attempt to push the boundaries a bit, so please be kind. First, I didn't use ribbon to connect the torn pieces, and second, I used a retired set. Are those permissable?
Brian, glad you are joining in on the fun. The only requirement here is to look at the sketch and make what you see fits into it. Whatever stamps you like, what ever colors and even change it up a bit if that is what you are inspired to do. This is all about having fun and there really aren't any rules.
AndreaSophie usually posts the new challenges on Wed so we have about a week to work on them. However, if life gets in the way do it whenever you have time. I've been known to not do any for a month :( and then sit down and catch up all in one night
Here is my take on this week's challenge. Mine is definitely different than the great sketch Andrea showed but I got up to my stamping room and couldn't remember exactly what it looked like! Mine was still pending as of 10:15pm EST. Fun to have a chance to do these challenges this week!
My SC28 card. I had soooo much fun making this challenge card. It was time consuming, which is my favorite kind of card. I just (7:30 p.m. PDT)uploaded so photo is pending. Thanks again Andrea for a great challenge, Nancy
When I saw this weeks sketch, I was not sure I would try it. I really am not that happy with this type of card, but as usual you all have made some great examples and made me want to try it.
here is my masculine take on the sketch for this week...I really enjoyed doing this...I'm going to have to pay more attention and do these every week...really makes me stretch. Sometimes I feel like I make the same card over and over, just different colors and/or stamps. thanks for the challenge and I would love to hear some feedback for my card.

wehoo.... here's another one of mine!
Hey everyone. I just did a SWAP, and had so much fun, and realized it fit into one of the sketch challenges (unfortuately one I already completed for my Challenge Checklist -LOL!)
Anyway, here is my GET WELL card, using a real bandage. It's called Get Well Soon Mate... because it uses the Mini Mates set. So cute!!
