Default Using Paypal Buy Now buttons with Blogger

I'm wondering if anyone has successfully used these buttons on their Blogger/blogsot blog? This is what I'm talking about: https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/we...side&nav=2.0.0

I tried to insert one a few days ago to no avail. The HTML didn't seem to want to work right. Granted, I did not spend a lot of time fiddling with it. The code I was given by paypal didn't copy correctly into blogger.

Has anyone tried to use these and been successful with them? I'd love to use this option to sell things on my blog.

Thanks!

I am assuming you are speaking here of the button only that you can put anywhere within your blog.

I haven't tried it yet, but I plan on it. A friend and I are just starting up a blog and we will be offering several products, so I have been researching WHERE other Bloggers place theirs.

By the way, I did note on the PayPal site that the "PreSet" icon will not transfer with a Mac. (That is what I use.) But they do give you the code to insert. Is that also what you are dealing with? I know that is what I'll have to test.

I used them on my blog and had no problem. I have since built myself a website and use them there too as well as on my Father's web-site that I manage. They work wonderfully!

Retired Store You will have to click on a stamp set to see the button.

Dad's Book Store Clicking on a book will take you to it's Description-Purchase page.

If you want to PM me the code you are having trouble with I can take a look at it when I get a chance. ;)

Thanks for the responses! I'll have to play with it again and see what I was doing wrong.

Debbi - thanks for posting the links. I really wanted to know if they worked with blogger or not, so I'll need to play around with it some more.

It works with blogger just the same as on a web-site. I took the same code to the web-site that I used on my blog when I had my store there.

I know I have seen someone use the Paypal buttons, on their blogs.

I too would love to know, how to do this. Since I have things that I would love to sell.

Anyone with this information, please let us know!

Here is the code you need to use. Just change the red to the things requested.

<form target="paypal" action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post">
<input type="image" src="https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_cart_SM.gif" border="0" name="submit" alt="PayPal - The safer, easier way to pay online!">

<input type="hidden" name="add" value="1">
<input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_cart">
<input type="hidden" name="business" value="Insert Your Paypal E-mail">
<input type="hidden" name="item_name" value="Insert Product Name">
<input type="hidden" name="amount" value="Insert $ Amount">
<input type="hidden" name="no_shipping" value="2">
<input type="hidden" name="currency_code" value="USD">
<input type="hidden" name="lc" value="US">
<input type="hidden" name="bn" value="PP-ShopCartBF">
</form>
