Hello all of you experienced bloggers! I am getting ready to start my own blog and my email is required for starting my blog account and for signing into it once I start it. I am wondering if you all have found that you get a lot more emails once you do this and/or if you recommend starting a completely new email to use for this. Thanks in advance for your advice! I have a feeling I will need some more help soon!

Hi Kerry!
I have had a blog since the beginning of the year and don't find that I get many emails. I'd recommend that you use your regular email and if you find (which I'm sure you wont) that you get quite a few emails, then perhaps add a folder designated "Blog" in your email account and set up a filter to put all of your blog related emails in the one spot.
Goodluck with your blog
Google/Blogspot doesn't send e-mails, if that's what you're asking. I added an e-mail me link on mine, but I don't have my e-mail actually listed. I've gotten a few e-mails from people advertising a site or something, but not even a handful. Since I added the comment verification where the commenter has to type in those funky-looking letters, I haven't gotten any spam comments either.
I started a yahoo e-mail account for my blog. But now I use it for anything pertaining to stamping. If you want to keep it simple use the same starter for your e-mail address as you name your blog.
(i.e. 123stamping@e-mailaccount & 123stamping@blogging)
BTW... I use blogspot & haven't received any increase in e-mails.
This question pertains to emails and blogs but I have the opposite problem. I am trying to figure out how to send and email someone that has a blog.
I participated in a challenge this stamper was having, and when I checked in on her blog a few days later, I found that I had won. Her post said to email her with my address so I can receive my prize, but I can't figure out where to find the link to the email. She uses Blogger. I just started a blog myself just about a week ago so I'm still really new to this. I know I could try to just post another comment to her blog explaining that I don't know how to email her, but I thought it would be good to learn how to do it. Can someone please help me out?

You could always post her a comment letting her know your email and asking her for hers. I read all my comments so I know I would see that if it were me. HTH...congrats on winning! How fun!
