I'm ready!! My card is done. Not sure it will pass lil dj's approval, lol, as I did not stitch on my card ;) I kept meaning to buy the sew easy but haven't had the budget to squeeze in anything crafting and my mom still has my sewing machine *smile* It's been raining the whole part of the day I have been home, so I might have to photograph it tomorrow when the weather is nicer, unless I just shoot it anyway, bad lighting and all!
Dittto - great pictures, Sweet P! Our beaches have way more people than yours, lol! Yours is so serene and quieter! Great cards, too - thassa lotta chickens!!
Hmmmm, what confuses me about men, I think, judging from the ones I"ve had in my immediate family and the wonderful hubby I have now is their INABILITY to tell you when something tastes REALLY bad and eat it instead with that proverbial "it's wonderful" look when it isn't! I love their "trying to be nice" but if I dont' know, I can't fix it for the next time, HAHAHA!
"OH my, I put in SALT instead of sugar? Honey, why ever didn't you tell me!!?!!"
Kelly you are so funny....(My dh would tell me loud and clear however he didn't tell me for 15 years he didn't like pineapple...:rolleyes
And to the QOTD:..almost ready....went to the state fair today with my dd, then made supper for her and her fiance (He fixed the brakes on my car), so it is late and I will for sure post tomorrow....sigh...

I am going to be in SEW much trouble! I don't have my card done. I know!!! Double sewing loser!!!! I am so sorry.
I am glad to say that we finished getting my Grandma into an independent/assisted living today. What a move that was yesterday and today. Totally hot out, my back felt better but had to leave all the lifting to my dad and uncle, and God love her but pretty much an organized hoarder. Holy friggin box of rocks. But, what to expect at 97?!
She seems to really like her new place. All of her meals are taken care of. She has a mini fridge and microwave. She can come and go as she pleases. DH took her down to dinner and dropped her off with a nice group of ladies (Of course I was appalled they had sloppy joes for dinner). That gave us a chance to arrange furniture and get her set up. Long days, but she is on her way to being set up.....meanwhile, I am ready for some sleep.....so good night!
I will try to get to my card as soon as I can. I promise, Debbie!
3:10 am.......Hi girls...

QOTD
Invisible, that way I can pick and choose what I see and ultimately what I have to do...you can't ask me to do something if I am not there to ask...lol
I think if you can read minds your brain would overload and explode....lmbo!
SEW cool! My card posted at midnight, and it was SEW neat making it, not SEW neat getting pictures, rofl -- my camera battery died on pic #7
I'm off to visit those that are up - I've seen a few on my blog thumbnail and can't wait to see the bigger pictures!
Hello Ladies--Happy Sunday Afternoon. A wonderful day here--sunny, cooler with a slight breeze (sure with I could say that about all of you affected by Irene!) We had a great dinner last night--chicken fajitas--and our friends brought an awesome chocolate cake. They left half of it--so we have dessert for the salmon dinner we are making today. They should be here in a bit, so this is a quick check in and I will be back later. I sew will be checking the awesome creations today too!
I see I'm not the only one who was a might creeped out with the thought of reading minds. I also wouldn't really want to know the future. That scares me.
Okay, I'm home from church and heading out in search of SEWing projects. ;) I saw Kelly's last night, shortly after midnight. Can't wait to see the rest.
I am finally posted and have stopped by to see and comment on all the awesome SEWING creations you have posted...well done ladies....will keep checking and commenting as more creations post...
I too would rather be invisible...reading minds definitely creepy. I love your description April....how fun would that be???

JCI. Just got home from baseball. Had a double-header that started at 8:30 a.m. Then had pizza for the boys after the game. Just trying to get a few things organized and we are off to swimming. Also have to get out walk in. It's beautiful here today!! Will visit blogs and leave love this evening.
Off to check the blogs--just wanted to let all of you know that the twill around the waist of the dress form on my card says the size of the waist I am wishing for--24 inches!

Good Morning--Great Day in Wisconsin! AND, it sounds like the news from the East Coast fared better from Irene than was expected. There are still many people without power and quite a bit of damage, but it sure could have been worse!
I am getting inky today and will get a swap postal. Then, I am caught up for a bit and we are heading out of town for a long weekend--heading up north Thursday night--going to the MN state fair on Friday and visiting some friends in NW Wisconsin all weekend.
Great Cards Ladies--Sew Darn Cute--every one of them!
QOTD--We did the challenge course this summer and I was 30 feet in the air walking on a wire and a telephone pole. Daring, but not dangerous as I was in a harness. Not sure if I can remember a dangerous thing in the past, oh say, 25 years--takes too long to heal if hurt!
Hi Barb! Sounds like you have a fun week planned! Enjoy!!!
Oh, I don't think I could EVER do what you did! I'm afraid of heights!
For me, oh, I'm not brave/daring at all! I won't even speed because I'm afraid a cop will catch me or I'll crash and burn. LOL!
I guess the most dangerous thing I've ever done in my life is probably driving a motorcycle - and I was always a very conscientious driver of it. So I shall just have to live vicariously through the rest of you, my friendly dare-devils! ;)
Just got off all the wonderful SEWing blogs where I left some well deserved love...
wowww!...SEW impressive how everyone did such great job on their SEWing challenge!
Loved each and everyone I saw...KUDOS to all of ya!! :o)
QOTD: invisible....especially after watching 'what women want'...lol
today's QOTD: not sure if it's too daring but many years ago when my children were only 4 yo and 5.5 yo, I hook up my car AND tent trailer and off we went all the way to the island, via ferry boat, surprising my hubby (he had a job out of town that particular summer) I set up camp and got it all ready and habitable before I contacted him that we were only one km away!...To me that was challenging enough and yes he was absolutly *and gladly* surprised!
What is the most daring or dangerous thing youve ever done?
Hi CG's!
Um, I don't think it would be a good idea to incriminate myself! LOL It seems all the daring and dangerous have stories attached! I can tell you that no, I have not been arrested and yes, I have been shot at!
Okay, that is not fair to leave you hanging. I went on a first date with a boy in high school. We went to a plant nursery where he worked, I have no idea why we were there, he had a fast car and turned around really fast in the gravel driveway and the owner came out and started shooting at our car! He took me home and it was the time where you would kiss goodnight and we both started laughing and said that we could not possibly date and we would have to whoop it up all the time. We became great friends. Small world when I met DH, he worked with my friend's dad. I told my friend's dad not to blow my cover! LOL
I am sew close to being able to get my card started......
I can honestly say that I have never been shot at....lol....and I lived in the middle of nowhere! My brother, who is 16 years older that I, was quite the rebel, so nothing I did was dangerous! I also could do no wrong in my parents' eyes......hehehe.....I fooled them!
What is the most daring or dangerous thing youve ever done?
I guess it was when I had an ex that was holding a loaded gun pointed at me threatening me...and I told him to "please shoot me." He looked at me like I was nuts and then told me so...I told him being dead was better than looking over my back all the time and living in fear.....I was sick of it...apparently it stunned him to the point of for the most part leaving me alone...as we all know he didn't shoot me but once he found out I wasn't scared of him he didn't know what to do next..... (dumb bell....he robbed a bank with his fancy gun and got caught....)
