QOTD: Actually, big brown boxes that arrive via mail - I literally squeal when a package arrives! I know something wonderful is always waiting inside!!!

That's true, April! ;) And he tells me he loves me often.

Today is my Dad�s birthday. He was quite mischievous as a youngster, and I always love hearing of his escapades. In celebration of his 81 years (and counting), have you ever TP�d a house, made a prank phone call, or participated in any other similar activities?
Yikes....do I really need to incriminate myself this way??
Once, we put popcorn between a door and a makeshift tp wall...the person was asleep, the door opened in and we made a wall and filled the void with popped popcorn....it made quite the mess when she opened her door....LOL I was in college at the time.....
Have also Saran wrPped toilets and rubber banded sprayers......
Good Morning--we woke this morning to a storm rolling through and it rained for 4 hours--on and off. We really need it and I am sure I will need to cut the grass when it dries out today. I am going to get inky today as I need to make this card. They are hooking up our sound system in the basement today--YAY!

Pranks....as a kid we would call people and ask if their refrigerator was running....and then told them go catch it and then giggle and hang up....(most people were good sports about it)...now we wouldn't do it because of caller id...I have also rubber banded the sprayer on my sink to spray my girls...(shame on me).

GOOD MORNING calendar girls,
I have yet to create a card for this challenge but I do know exactly what I will be making which is half the battle n'est pas?? :o)
Will definelty be working at it later on today once I get back from visiting my Dad and taking Mom home...(ALL of our plans did NOT pan out yesterday as hubby had to go back to his Dr).... He was confirmed having Ramsey Hunt Syndrome (a form of shingles that affects his facial muscles and skin) Today he woke up and his face is quite swollen...poor man...*sigh*
I ended up turning my day around yesterday into a BARB's kind-of-day, completing two swaps and uploading the results on my blog....I can't believe how much inking I have been doing lately (and lovi ng it)...plus I am ALMOST caught up...almost.
And now onto pranks...lol.. Yes I did use TP but only to wrap a car *giggle*
and yes I did make prank phone calls as a teen ager...
and partecipate in some form or another of UNmentioned activities...LOL but it sure was funnnnnnnnnnnnnnn while it lasted! My favorite one was a prank to on eof my collegues on April's Fools day a couple years ago. We moved his precious car to a different parking spot (got the extra key from his wife) and put it sideways between two spots!!!
On same guy---I had the school's secretary page him publicly ,saying that the principal needed to see him immediatly in his office...(of course I warned the principal too...LOL)...well..poor guy..he was bombarded by lotsssss of kids as to why he summoned on the P's office!...LOLOL.......
He was a hoot to work with and a greata collegue.
(and YES he was a BIG prankster too!)

Happy Birthday to your dad!! My dad's would have been Monday - sniff! 81 years young and tons of fun!
I was pretty straight up as a kid - not many pranks - that was always my brother's area, lol! But my tweenage friends and I did call up pizza places when we where babysitting and have it delivered! Oops! :oops: This was, of course, 100 years ago before cell phones, call return and caller ID!
And .. .... hanging head in shame, my card will be late :( Being on vacation put me way behind, I still have 3 DT cards to get made/photographed by tonight! I'm sorry! I will have it up this weekend - forgive me!

We never did the TP thing out of respect for people's homes. Who knew we were so ethical back them?!
When my Eat Pray Love friend and I were younger, we would call random numbers and pretend we knew the people. It was hillarious how many people would just talk to you...."Hey, how's it goin'? What ya up to?...." ;)
The Eye Batter and I would go to bars - with fake ID of course! - We would make up names before we went in and we had to call each other the names and see how far we could fib a story with out laughing. Of course each would try to trip the other up. Man, there were some funny times there! I usually laughed first!

Well.....we tried to TP a house in high school.....waited til dark, ran up to the house with TP in hand and the guys dad was sitting on the porch :-)

I, like Tami have an alter-ego......My name is Gertrude, and my younger sisters name is Penelope.....don't remember how often we used that but it was always fun! One time, my sis and I (and some friends) crashed a wedding and sang "Total Eclipse of the Heart" to the bride and groom. They invited us for dinner :-)
Yes, a few pranks. Prank Phone calls were fun, before caller ID. Soaped a teacher's windows when in high school and also got the door screen--that was a mess for him to clean up. A good one pulled on me when I was a driver's ed teacher in the summer around 20 years ago--another teacher put saran wrap all over the car we were to take out and a note on the back--"How is my Driving" Call 1-800-Take-A-Hike. I laughed so hard..................................

As far as me and pranks....... hmmmmmmmmm... we moved so often that I never really had a way to pull pranks on others, because we never lived anywhere long enough to do so. I always envied those who did so, though, and wished I could be part of that group.
