Good Morning Gals--sitting in the lobby, checking in with all of my SCS buds and all ready to go. Luggage is packed--the checked one is 47.9 pounds so I am glad they had a scale in the business center. I guess a couple of new stamps and 6x6 packs and embossing folders and ribbon are going to make it home OK!
Roomie has a luncheon until 2:00 and then we take the 2:15 shuttle to the airport. We do not leave until 5:40, so we will have some time at the airport here as well as an hour layover in Cleveland. We get home just before 9:00, then it is around a half hour drive home.
It has been a great mini-vacation and the best part was meeting three wonderful SCS friends--they are all so sweet. The seafood here is outstanding--I had crab cakes last night and we share a lobster bisque that was soooooooo good. I know I will miss that part too!
I love all of the colors of the trees--we try to take walks in areas that have lots of maples. There is a place near us called Holy Hill, that has some incredible views in the fall.
a few maples have the tops turning. Our neighbor across the street has a small one and the top is red. They have been watering it for the past month, so I am not sure if they think it is stressed or what. When the first ones start, I always wonder if they are stressed or just a variety that changes earlier than others. We haev mostly pines in our yard, so do not get to see that up close--but since we live on a hill, we have great views and can see for a couple of miles.

Good Afternoon from Southeast Wisconsin--known to me as Home! Yes, it is great to go on vacation, but it feels so good to sleep in my own bed again. We got home about 9:45 last night. This morning, all of the typical things when gone for clsoe to a week--going through the stacks of mail, catching up on emails, doing 3-4 loads of wash, picking tomatoes and peppers from the garden, cleaning the fish tank and trying to get back into a normal routine.
I hope you too have a productive day--and welcome to the weekend!

Holy Hill is beautiful. We went a few years ago and got some good pictures....but I don't know where they are stored
If you were to have a papercrafting sale, what is the first item you would think to get rid of?
Um, I think when it comes to papercrafting I am a hoarder in training, thus no sale!
Edit: Okay, I am editing after reading other's comments. I am not a big fan of stickers either. So, if I had to pick it would be stickers, but since I do not like them, I do not have any, so back to the hoarder for me! LOL
Oh yes... stickers! EEK! I should have gone through that stash and put them in the sale items. LOL!
Sooooooooo who likes pumpkin spice lattes?
Sorry, I am not a fan of pumpkin flavor, so would opt out for the latte. I also do not care for candy corn.
My girlfriend likes those nasty waxy candy corn wanna be pumpkins with orange dye number 5001. I always go to Target the day after Halloween - or five days as they are still there because no one likes them - and buy bags of them when they are half off. I then give them to her at random times in months to come. They have like some sort of preservative that they last for years!
Don't get me started on the Peeps. They are creepy with little beady eyes and my other girlfriend ♥s them. I do the same purchase for Peeps and give them to her. She always makes me laugh as she calls me after we meet on the way home and tells me how many Peeps have "left the package" (aka she ate 'um) so far and she is not even home yet!

OHHHH, this is tricky for me. Let me 'splain Sadly, all the LSS's closed down here. We do not have a single one. But before they closed, they would have bi-annual "garage sales". Great place to score some awesome deals! What I would WANT to get rid of and what I would WANT to sell would probably bonk heads, lol!
I have scored some GREAT single stamps - not many sets, like the ones I hear you guys buying at garage sales for 5 bucks! - Mostly retired HUGE wooden stamps - like 4 x 4 and 4 x 5 size that are now retired (and rare, I'm told) Like PSX and Diamonds - which I will keep forever and ever! They are bulky and in the way and most people would have striped them down from the wood by now. But for me, I am a touchy feely and very tactile person - I have to pet things, lol!! I bought them ALL for less than a buck. Most of them were .50c each. And I saw one sell for $38.00 on ebay!! Unreal.
I'd have to say I like my stickers though They are great for scrapbooking, keeping the kids busy with their cards, great for playdates, etc ...... I dont' have many, they aren't my fave thing to craft with, but they come in handy. What I do have HOARDS of are the 3d Jolees that are meant to go into the scrapbooks as well - I have them in bins and hanging on my Clip-it-Up. Me likey! I get to pet them, too ....... LOL!!
We watched the Brewers win the Division Championship last night;this morning I helped a friend with a garage sale;watching the Badgers win big right now and have a pot of soup on the stove--Life Is Good!

Oh, I loved reading about the things you'd get rid of, or hoard, depending on your thoughs. And to see we have a sticker petter in our midst, how fun!
Tami, I don't like pumpkin either, though I can manage the Pumpkin Spice beverage occasionally. A piece of pumpkin pie? Heaven's NO!!! I also think that those Peeps are sooooooo gross!!! No way! And I'm not much of a fan of candy corn or those waxy pumpkin things.
Now I have to tell you ladies about stickers. I didn't think to go through my stickers and put them in the sale yesterday............. and I had a lady who bought several items that asked if I had any stickers. I told her I did, but I hadn't thought to put them on the sale. Come to find out, she's a special ed teacher in a very nearby town and she's doing a year-long project with her students. They are making memory books (scrapbooks) of their lives. Of course, they love stickers... they are fun and colorful and easy. Yep, you guessed it. I took her phone number and this week I'm going through my stickers, bundling up a bunch, placing a phone call, and donating them to some Special Ed kids who will love them! Hmmmmmmmmmmm... wonder if they will pet them???
I will save a few stickers, though, because when I send cards to children through the Chemo Angel program, unless it says they don't want stickers, I usually include a few stickers for them.
Good Morning-I was up at 6:00, deciding if I wanted to go to the Flea Market and meet my nephew and his wife, as it was raining and is to do so all day. Staying home won out, so here I am after church. Packers play the Bears for the late game, so that will be on the agenda for sure.

Well, I knew we would be friends 'till the end!
That is nice of you to donate your beloved stickers. They sound as if they will go to great use.
