I have several projects to post on my Blog. My DH niece and nephew are visiting from Florida (ages 4 and 6) without their parent's, so I have been a VERY busy lady this week! Hello to Annie, I added you to my Blog (:
Julie, no problem! Thankyou very much for being considerate and keeping us posted on what's been going on.
This is what we have been asking the group members to do. Just keep us posted as to what's going on so we don't wrongfully accuse someone of not participating or holding up their end.

I agree, I think we all understand that sometimes things come up, we go on vacation, people come on vacation to visit us, it's the crazy time of year at work. A little information goes a long way for understanding!
Enjoy your visit with your niece and nephew. I kept mine last night we watch Bolt and made flubber, we had a great time.
I am also happy to help fill in challenges if need be.
Paula, I made a masculine card like you requested, just waiting until I finish posting challenge cards to get it uploaded. and yes, I was thinking of the coffee stamps when I saw that request at CPC!
in case any of you are wondering what we are talking about with CPC - it stands for Christian Paper Crafts Magazine - a new magazine that is starting up. Kick off is May 1, but there is a forum similar to Paper Craft Planet that Paula and I have joined. Please feel free to join us over there if you would like! I have a button on my blog, but here is a link as well.
well, I have the coffee in my hands, so I'd better try to get the day going. maybe that is what was off with me yesterday - NO COFFEE!!!!! have a good one ladies!
I can't wait to see what you have made! You just have to submit something for that coffee call. It is so you!
Thanks for posting about CPC. I was just thinking the same thing, in case some people were unaware. I have the button too! Hope to see more of you there. Anyone else interested?
Bolt was surprisingly good. I thought it would be cute, but it was better than I thought it would be.
Flubber is easy to make. The kids I kept last night were my niece and nephew and I haven't really kept them that much since we got married. They are a little, ummm, rambunctious? Is that a good word? They are 8 and 9 and get very excited when they are here and want to go through everything in the house. She's easy, anything craft related will keep her happy, not so much him. So I thought if we would make something fun or different both would be happy. So I happened to have all the ingredients and Flubber it was! All it is, is a mixture of glue, food coloring, borax and water. If anyone wants the measurements let me know. It is a lot of fun and was a hit with both kids.
I am the aunt that will let the kids make a mess! They had a ball playing with the food coloring and changing the color of their glue. Both ended up with gray flubber.
Hi DIVAS! Has anyone ever made Scrabble tile pendants? I want to make some for mini-society with Hannah. Twilight ones of course. I was just wondering. Happy Sunday!!!!!!
Hi Paula! Mini society is a project at grade schools around the country. It is where the students learn about market and how to run a little business. I saw scrabble tiles and I thought I could make that, I went to Mike's to look for the aanraka bails to hang the pendant. M's had none. I hope HL has them. I did pick up these thick rings to use in place of if I can't find the bails locally. I just tested it out it appears it will work. I did a cupcake stamp today but the others will be decoupaged. It seems pretty easy so far. We will see....

Hi Tiffany!! I have missed you.
Mini society is a fun learning experience. It focuses on entreprenuership, helps the students manage their business, work together and citizenship. Hannah's group is doing hair color streaks, they made these pot holder things, bracelets, greeting cards and my scrabble tiles. I will post pics of the tiles when finished. I made the duct tape wallet for her money. They also draw up and make their own money. It is a lot of fun. When Isaiah did it, he did hot dogs and was a hit. Oh and I taught him how to make these bird house shaped cards for Mother's day since m-society is in early May. He stamped them and cut them out. The teachers bought them up and asked for more They were so darling to me b/c he made them. I am thinking of Hannah's card she will be selling. I am probably going to teach her how to make the flower pot card. I think that will go over well.
I am 100 % sure the Twilight Scrabble tiles will be a big hit. Oh and I am so torn between Team Edward and Team Jacob. So I must say I am SOOOOO Team Carlisle. hahahaha
Okay, I just sent everyone a PM with the addresses that I have. Please let me know if I got something wrong, but I think I got everything. Have a great night everyone.

it would of been ok if someone had told me about this, plus my computer have been playing up since november 2008 and I have not received any emails regarding this
Good morning ladies, just catching up with everything. I got absolutely no emails in the last couple of day to keep up with everything on here, I apologize. But I'm caught up now, have a wonderful day. Oh and Carmen I would love to see your twilight tiles, I've never done any, sounds fun.
"If and When" you all have an opening in your incredibly fun and talented group, I would love to be considered. You are all so very talented and have so much fun. Thank you for sharing your talent with us lesser mortals.

Sara I think SCS had a big burp! I couldn't get into my gallery a few days ago and they said there was a problem but they had everything fixed. Glad you are back. Did you get to do any cropping with your Mom?

I do believe we have one more opening, don't we?
Your right, this is a fun group of people and I have enjoyed gettiing to know them.
Good morning ladies, I hope everyone had a great weekend. I know I didn't post anything on my blog last week. Sorry I had a busy week at work and to be honest I just didn't feel like getting on the internet at night. Plus we had friends in this weekend, and well we are all young and still in our mid 20's so you know we like to go out and have a good time. I will be making a few posts this week with my adventures over the weekend and new projects. And I will also be visiting everyones blogs, of course, cause I need to see what lovely things everyone has been getting into lately, I am sure I will get lots of wonderful ideas.
The blog challenge for Wed April 22 has been post on my blog and in the challenge post. I'll be posting other cards using this technique over the next week or two. I hope you don't get bored with it. Don't forget to give the high tea stamper some love for posting the video of this. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

OMGosh, OMGosh!!!! Annie you are close to me! I looked at your SCS gallery to see your work but never flipped to your blog until just now. My hubby works in K'ville 4 days a week and one day from home. We are about 80 miles out. Gina is also in our neck of the woods in a round about way. She's just farther away. My daughter plays basketball against a school that is in the town where Gina works. Small world ladies!
If you ever come into Knoxville, give me a shout and we can meet! I lived in Knoxville for about 10 years and we moved to Norris 2 years ago. Hubby works near the KY line and needed a shorter drive.

Hmmmmm.....that's odd about your computer acting up. I see cards uploaded to your site. Is there a reason why you weren't keeping up with the group thread as well? Perhaps maybe if you would have come in to let us know what was going on, we could have understood. At this point tanja, I'm not going to rehash this over and over. I'm sorry there was a misunderstanding but, there is an opening over at Kreative Ladyblogs if you would like to join that group. I just had to bow out of it as I wasn't able to keep my committment to them. Take care and hope everything works out!

Hi kristi! thanks for letting us know how your doing and what's been going on. I look forward to seeing your wknd adventure. ;)
this is probably a good time to take a minute to go back over the commitment issue once again. As you can see, there is a big difference between people who let everyone else know when things are going on in their lives that prevent them from blogging and commenting and those who don't communicate.
blogger groups are intended to be fun for those who want to be ACTIVE participants. It requires a time commintment on everyone's part, not just a few. I will be blunt and admit, I enjoy going to the blogs and reading your posts, but gosh, it's not the same when I go visit and some people don't ever bother to come visit mine. But that same person can update their blog 3+ times per week, even daily. There are several people in this group who have only visited my blog once or twice since the beginnning. Nothing about this shows active participation. So when this happens to quite a few people and we comment upon it, don't get upset. It's called playing fair and most of us learned this lesson in Kindergarten.
Please understand that I'm not trying to be mean here, just honest about what a blogging group is all about. If you can't uphold your end of the deal, it's not a biggie, but be an adult about it and be honest and communicate. It isn't fair to make one or two people in this group have to police those who are in this for different reasons. What is fun about that for them?
So come join the fun that we all want to have. Please examine the reasons you are doing this. Is it to grow your business or to meet other people who love to craft? Let's all be adults here.
okay, I'm done with the soapbox. I really want to get back to enjoying this again. and it hasn't been as fun lately with all the drama. and it was time for someone else to speak up so it didn't all fall on Sue.
Awwwww.......I luv ya jennifer*hugs* and well-said. This is the facts.
It's all about the fun. I HATE drama. I am SO not about confrontation and pot-stirring. That's what I love about this group! it seems like we have each other's back not to mention we all are artistic not only in our cardmaking and projects but, in our contribution as a whole. :-D
Paula, thanks for asking, we had a really fun time with my mom. The kids dyed easter eggs, and did their hunt. We cooked, and cooked, and some baking. We didn't do a whole lot of stamping, but did swap images. I brought a whole suitcase full of stamps for my mom to stamp, and I went through hers as well. All in all it was wonderful, just what we needed. Now onto your challenge-OH MY GOODNESS-this looks hard, but I'll check it out and see what I can come up with. I still haven't done Jennifer's challenge, but will try to get to that as well. Having said all that, let's have some fun ladies, and leave everything else behind!!! Till later, HUGS!!!
