Isn't this all true? Sadly enough I walked out of M's using my 50% off on some playdough for the girls. That's how bad the selection is! At least they're happy...

I must say I found a great buy at M's yesterday...They have a new line of colored tins - various sizes and colors - for $2-$4. I found red tins with polka dot lids for $1.99 - perfect size for cards. They were on an end cap near the dried flower accessories.

Those tins are adorable!! Just to let you guys know...someone said they bought something that was orignally $60 marked down to $30 and used a coupon on it. DO NOT expect that to work everytime. M's policy is that coupons are for reg. priced items. BUT heres a HINT, if you buy more than a few items (the more the better) the cashier may not "catch" that it was a discounted item. The register will take it off of a marked down (not on sale but clearanced) item but the cashier is supposed to know clearanced items get rung after the coupon to avoid this from happening. I know as a cashier I don't always check for a clearance sticker before I scan an item...so come to me and I'll ring you up!!

I hardly go to Michael's anymore. If I do it is for blades, magazines and things like that. I use my coupon at Hobby Lobby and I think there things are cheaper then Michael's anyway. Michael's just doesn't keep up with what we want. I also use my Joann's coupon at Hobby Lobby. As long as it is not a reproduction they will honor it.

Thanks for the info!

Sandy
I found two sites that had them where the shipping was really reasonable. The first site is ohmycrafts.com. I ordered 4 large folders and they were on for $4.39US (regular price is still only $4.99US) and the shipping charge was only $4.14US. They still have a bunch of embossing folders on special as of this morning. The second place I found them is allthatscraps.com. They were $4.99US. I ordered 3 large folders and the shipping was only $2.00US.
**sorry the system won't let me add url links**

So even with the shipping charges added and exchange rate to the folders, all together they cost about $5.65CDN. I thought that was still a good deal when Michaels sells them at $9.99 and even if you use a coupon, you can only get one at a time.

Yes! I do this all the time. You need to use your platform and cutting pads. Works great.

I bought my CB folders from 7kidscollegefund.com They were $4.49 with 15%off (coupon code) plus shipping. Email her to see if she has a coupon code. There is also cutterscreek.com & they are $4.00 with $5.00 flat international shipping. This is the cheapest I have found.

That is cheap! I've bookmarked the page already. Just have to wait until I get my allowance again!

Our M's is very good either. I can't remember the last time I bought anything there. I go to J's to pick up some mags every now and then because I can use my 40% off coupon I get from the mailing list. I find myself shopping at independent shops or online more and more. *sigh* It seems such a waste to toss those coupons but...
