As you know, last year brought a sudden halt to all traveling scrapping & stamping conventions. I'm all in for helping them to return to full swing again. Taking my wish list along and tickled to see the goodies in person again!
The linked websites will also show you upcoming dates in other states too, such as Pennsylvania, Maryland, & Tenessee. They're trying to come back so let's try to give them a great big "Welcome Back" with our in-person smiles!
Friends of mine just went to the one in MA a couple of weeks ago. Vendors were far less than normal but they still had a great time!!
Same here yesterday. A member of the SSAT shows said that some of the stamp vendors simply are not quite ready to get back on the road & mix with large numbers of people just yet. I do get that, for sure. Still, he said their sales were good & welcome for sure.
The GASC next week in Arlington, TX has fewer vendors coming this year than is usual, but they're still offering a lot of scrapping classes for the weekend as always, and peeps can rent a scrap table in the Scrap Room for 1 day or 2 days to scrap & chat with friends. Getting peeps back together to share the joy of paper crafting is the big bonus in my opinion. ;)
I went to one in Akron, OH at the end of April with a friend. So much fun! I am vaccinated and had no worries and the browsing and shopping experience were wonderful since there were fewer people than past years.

I'm still wary of being in a room with hordes of people. Esp as we have rising numbers of the Delta variant here in the UK.
The nature of stamping shows is people wanting to get up close and personal with the goodies, and people getting up close and personal with each other.
There's one in Orlando next weekend but I can't go… boo! We're holding our summer camp next week and I will be worn out by the time the weekend arrives.
But I'm glad to see them starting up again. So important to keep our stamp supply companies going!

I understand. This is why some of the vendors aren't ready to get back on the road just yet. Thus, the shows are a bit smaller for now, but seeing colors, papers, & stamps in person brought a very welcome spot of joy to my heart indeed! ;)
A friend and I went to the Stamp and Scrapbook Expo held in Schaumburg, IL Aug.18-20. Had a great time- attended classes and got lots of free cool supplies. Also did our part to support the economy by buying lots of new stamps, papers, kits, tools, etc . We both wore our masks all weekend, basically.. Stayed right at at the Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center where the event was- really nice place, great rates for Expo attendees.
