That's a great price!
Now an odd question...what exactly do you use Sharpies for related to stamping?
Thanks!

yeah -- I wondered the same thing the first time I saw a Sharpies Sale alert here -- some people swear by them for using on coasters and to color in when stamping on clear acetate sheets, but the big current rage is to use them like the MUCH more expensive Copic Markers for coloring in images stamped on paper.

OK, did a little research and thought I would share...

Sharpie website lists 39 colors available:

http://www.sharpie.com/enUS/Product/...nt_Marker.html

The 24 pack includes these colors:

Black, blue, red, green, yellow, purple, brown, orange, berry, lime, aqua, turquoise, magenta, tangerine, olive, navy, burgundy, marigold, plum, lilac, pink, sky, mint and peach.

So how do you buy these colors?

slate grey, Ocean blue, Blue ice, Rain Shower, Clover, Spruce green, Kiwi, Dandelion, Pumpkin, Brick red, Rose, Pink lemonade, Boysenberry, Violet, Almond

Still to come maybe? Not even Dickblick.com has the other colors...

I love my copics but I did buy some Bic Markit's(like Sharpie). After reading that you could achieve the same look with Sharpie and Bic as copic, I had to test for myself. You can get the look however in my test the Bic made the paper pill due to the amount of ink you have to put down to get the copic effect. I used Papertrey inc White paper. You can get a similar look but in my opinion theres nothing like the real thing...I plan on using my Bics as fill in colors until I get all the colors from copic I NEED!!

Keep an eye out for Target clearance on the back to school supplies. Last year I was able to get the Sharpie fine and ultra fine (24 count packs) for 3.98 each package. I bought several...lol
