This week Michael's has their 8x11 Recollections card stock packets 2 for $5. This includes the 200 sheet variety pack. Can't beat 400 sheets for $5.00.
I'll sell you the paper I bought in 2008! It isn't worth it!
I thought I was being so smart and frugal and bought more than I will ever use now that I can't use it. Quality is so important and I would rather by better to get a better finished product.

My thoughts exactly.

I have bought it in the past - its not the best, but its not the worst - definitely flimsy on the card base side of things but great for keeping the weight of a card down and still being able to use as layers.
I have used it to make decorations for parties and to line altered composition books on the inside - cheap, cheerful and colorful it does have a role in the papercrafting world!
I love this cardstock! I use it for cards, boxes, everything. I don't have a problem with it holding anything I put in the boxes including the ones I'm making for coworkers for Easter surprises. I also used it to make a bunch of those junior legal pad covers.

I love this cardstock too. Make sure it's Recollections and not their other brand. Recollections is great for copic use, I've found that it colors well and soaks up the ink faster since it's a bit thinner. I am a fan of other cs too that are from well known name brands, but Recollections is excellent if you need some to get by. If you heat emboss your images, the copics don't saturate outside the lines either. Thanks for the sale tip!
I buy it for layering. I make so many cards that I have to find ways to keep the costs down. It looks great and they have a great variety of colors. I do not use it for bases.
blessings.

I only use SU! paper for projects now.
Quality is always a good thing, but this paper is GREAT for layering, using with punches, making embelishments, and in general embellishing your better quality cardstock bases.
I think it's a grea bargin!

Great idea! The "good stuff" is actually too thick to use for this purpose (on the comp books), and scrapbook sheets are too thin.
