Going to Big Lots is just like going on a treasure hunt. You never know what you are going to find. Once in a while I find some some good scrapbookin items, you just never know.
I just picked up at 6 drawer rolling storage cabinet. $49.99 on sale for $37. The drawers are over 12" x 12" which is what got my attention from their ad. Big Lots! Ad

I'm taking it back. The holes are not drilled straight and there's some damage on the drawer backs. Oh well. It was worth the try.
COOL! The Big Lots in Odessa is great for paper crafters, but the one in Midland (where I work) isn't so great for paper crafters even though it is bigger. I haven't been to either one in months so I need to go check them out!
I just bought 2 K&Company Designer Mat Stacks for $2 and Memories Designer Vintage Mat Stack for $3 when normally in Joanns they are like $5 or so. They also had chipboard items, felt cutouts too. You'll never know with BL, they got some good deals.

I went last week and scored big time, I bought like 6 Making Memories Mat Packs, a couple of chipboard alphas, they had lots of alpha stickers which I didn't buy. I also got the American crafts items shown in the OP's original post plus a couple of others.
It has made me want to go about every week just to see what I can find, like someone said, it's a treasure hunt...lol.
Good luck hunting!

I was there about 2 nites ago and I couldn't believe what they had in that store! Rub-ons $2/$3, stickers, mini frames .50, alterable notebooks $1.50, etc. I stocked up very little but will go back when payday arrives!!! lol
The thing about Big Lots is that you have to go in with your brain in neutral. If you go in expecting to find something specific, it isn't going to happen. You have to just peruse the shelves and see what you can find. Over the years I've found one of the big 12x12 paper tablets for $7, various and sundry punches, stamps, adhesives, papers, stickers. But you can never predict if they're going to have something or when they'll have it. You have to visit and hope for a happy accident.
I also found a graduation stamp and a pretty flower stamp at Big Lots for $2.00. My store also had die cutters for shapes as well for $6.00. I also got some small scrap books with nice paper in them to use on my cards. Such fun! pkcprint in Tennessee
I stopped at Big Lots today actually to get some paper towels. I ended up buying 3 single rubber stamps made by MeandmyBIGideas with the girls on them for $4 each. Also, bought some 12x12 sheets of Basic Grey tags for $--great find. It's different each week.
I never bought the paper towels neither.
I just came back from lunch visit to big lots. Found some sweet deals. Inkadinkado stamps for $2 each. Very fun images, K & Co tins with shapes and tags $4 and interlocking puzzle pieces $4. They normally go for 9-10 each. I also found some fun American Tradition puffy stickers-stinkin cute snowmen and winter designs and 3D stickers for hockey $1 each. I love our Big Lots!!!

On Sunday I decided to stop by Big Lots since I was in the neighborhood and I'm glad I did.
I got a large rose stamp (2.00), a dad stamp(1.00), a stamp with rows of some type of flowers(2.00), A tinkerbell set(3.00), a happy birthday set with three stamps, some tags, cards, the ink, some papers, and string for the balloon all for 2.00, some stickers (green and blue) 1.oo each, rub ons 1.00, a set of alphabet for 1.00, and a 6*6 pack pattered paper 1.00.
Oh i found so much at the store I can't write it all but it came to 31.00 and my bag was full and i had a smile out of this world
The next day, Monday, i used my lunchtime to go to a different bl and found several more stamps, and some containers to hold my stamps in for 1.00 each
I wish I knew where other BLs were. You can't beat these prices for some great stamps.

I went today and got basic grey chipboard for $2. I saw the stamps but there wasnt a big selection. They also had American Crafts ribbon which I bought one of each. I bought MM paperpacks for $3 and was as happy as can be.
I was able to find light weight cardstock 10 sheets in misc. colours for 25c. Perfect since I was doing a paperbag album with my son's K class today and didn't really want to use my good cardstock & patterned paper.
I also got a 10 pack of 12x12 mulberry paper (none of the regular stores carry it) for $1. And a fiskars celestial corner punch for $2.
I got the celestial corner punch at BL a while ago, too! Looks like it's time for me to visit again-you guys have me anxious to see what they have now! I've gotten lots of great stuff there in the past, and I do agree, go in to see what you can score, not for a specific item!
