they had martha stewart stamps...they had a set with birds on the mounted on wood and another clear set that had squares with letters. sorry i dont have them in the house yet (still in the truck...well hidden :-) ) they also had ms paper...ribbon...journals...ALL FOR $1! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT! YEAH...RUN DONT WALK lol and no i dont work for big lots :-) have fun looking.
I actually saw the bird stamps and the other stuff for $1 and passed on it. I did think about the stamps and the journals for a minute though. I surprised myself with the self control I showed.....it doesn't happenvery often..LOL!!
LOL!!
I just got back from a trip to BL.
Did you see the Thickers for $2?? They had a great selection at the store I was in, vinal, foam, chipboard and felt. Both alphas and symbolage. Many different colors and font styles. The scrapbook section was well stocked compared to other times I've been there.
I picked up a bunch of thickers as well as some clipboards for altering.
The Big Lots here in MS isn't stocked that well with the scrapbooking items. I did find a couple of things from Martha's wedding embellishments for $2 . I found some of the tiny stick-on pearls. They only had 2 pkgs so I got both of them because I use them on cards. And I bought the embroidery edge hankie that years ago were made into a baby bonnet for the bride. Now I've have to hunt up my directions for it. LOL
I went today to Big Lots. They did have some great prices on MS stuff. I only saw one stamp set with leaves on it for $1. I got some adhesive foam for $1, K&Company stickers and brads for $1. They had a lot more cute K&Company stuff than Martha. But it was definitly worth the trip.
I go to my Big Lots, and they don't really have anything I use. I wish one day they would get some stuff in. I just keep checking, and good for those of you who have a better Big Lots than me!
One thing I found is that you need to ask when they get their deliveries and then get there as soon as it is convenient for you. I go once a week if I can and I go as close to Tues. as I can manage. Sometimes they only get a few of the really good things and if I see 3 of something I know I can use, I may buy all 3 of them. The key is to go there on a regular basis and close to their delivery date. I find great deals there in lots of departments by visiting regularly.
Mine had all the MS ribbon in a basket on the top shelf behind the sign for the MS wedding display...so be sure to look around in odd places when you go!
I got a very nice set of wood mounted rubber stamps that are leaves for $1.00. Plus lots of their ribbons for $1.00 per roll. I was very pleased with my visit.
blessings.

Who are the ribbons by? I ahve seen some rolls at my BLfor $1 too but they are the ones that I can get at ACMoore when they go on sale for less than
$1.
I am in Connecticut and went to my local BL yesterday. The only punches they have are from EK Success and are stitch punches...butterflies..I guess you punch the image (little dots outline a butterfly) and then stitch through the holes to create a little embroidery looking butterfly.
What my local BL did have is TONS of Thickers for $2. That was about it, though!
Hi, I'm near Austin, TX and my BL had a small selection of Martha Stewart items all priced at $1. I got some 1/4 inch rickrack ribbon rolls (brownstone, garnet, holly), a brown 5x7 CS accordion album, and some white "stitch" rub ons. The employee gave me a heads up and to check back on Monday for the next shipment. There were no punches, but I did find the Drippy Goo punch at my Wal-Mart. I have yet to find the loopy edge punches, though.
Thanks for finding and sharing this list. I am going to call tomorrow and see if they got a new delivery in. Says Monday for the store near me....I'll check to see if it is right. It will make it alot easier now!!
i went BACK to big lots this week ...they had a ton of k&co stuff for a dollar...lots of halloween stuff too...all cute and all still in the shelves at joanns (?) i was so excited!
I went to ours on Tuesday and they had the same old stuff. I am running there today for something and will check it out again. Maybe they just didn't get a chance to unback and put the new things on the shelves.....one can hope anyway right?!?! ;)
Last week end I found some MS ribbon - 10 yds for $1, 3/8 in - it is called piped nylon - sheer, fall colors, with darker piping on the edges. Should look great. I also got a pkg of "decorative tape" but as I open it I think it is made of paper - though self adhesive.
Not MS, but there were packages of mulberry paper, 12x12, 50 sheets of solid colors for $5. I have no idea how much that usually costs, but the package said a $20 value.

I hate my Big Lots! I went yesterday night to see if they had restocked and they did but it was all over the place. They stocked on flowers and rub-ons. But everything is everywhere. Its just too messy to go shop at least the one in miami. Does anyone else have this issue. I dont like shopping there it just makes me go mad because I fell like I have to shuffle throu so much stuff to get what I want..
I just checked the crafts and office supply aisle. If they had anything else somewhere else I didn't know about it. They did not have any stamps that I saw. Had been there in years.... now I remember why.
My dream job is to work at Big Lots or Hobby Lobby. I want to stock all the shelves so I can see everything first before anyone else does. It just doesn't pay enough to support my crafting habit. Darn it all........................ who said dreams really do come true? Was it that cricket? I need his address.
We don't have a BL any more. Can't wait to go to Cinci at the end of Oct. to visit sis. At her store, all their crafting stuff is in one place. Last time I hit the it big with Thickers.
Thank you! I wonder if you should go the same day they have stock come in, or should you go the next day after they have time to put it up....hummmmmmm.....
