Did a search but only saw the thread from a few months ago about Addicted to Rubber Stamps going out of business, but did anyone see the information that Superior Labels (who owns RubberStamps.net) bought Addicted to Rubber Stamps. That's all I know from the old ATRS website address - they're re-building the warehouse inventory and will be re-opening.
I hopw their prices, perks, and sales are similar to what ATRS had previously. I was a long time customer and loved that site. Of course they make the annoucement after I've put myself on a restricted stamping/crafting budget! What I liked best about the site (even though the shipping got pretty pricey over the years) was that I could order from so many different companies at one time (and some that I hadn't even heard of previously) and only pay one shipping. Even with the higher shipping, it was still cheaper than paying all the individual shipping costs from all the companies. Should be interesting.
I don't know anything about the new company that purchased it - so I don't know anything about their customer service, etc. I just know that in all the years that I purchased from ATRS, I never had any issues (other than something selling out before I had a chance to finalize my order and check out - but I didn't have much of an issue with that - at least the system told me real-time at checkout that something in my cart was no longer available). I really loved the sales and the vast array of stamp designs and companies represented.
It broke a piece of my heart when I saw ATRS was going out of business. I spent many hours surfing their site and had well over 150 orders with that company. Like you geo, I loved that fact that there were so many companies available in one place. I am super excited to see what this new company will do with it. I hope they only make it better.
I liked being treated like a valued customer! They often stuck a stamp or something else worth having into my orders, as a bonus. The time that they sent me a Holly Berry House wood mounted stamp that I'd been eying was the best. Getting a priority upgrade for free as a red carpet club member was nice, too.
I liked getting advanced notice on some sales and being able to purchase early because some items that I had on my wish list were boutique items and sold out quickly. There were a lot of perks to being a red carpet club member that I hope whoever's running the show this time around has something similar. It would be a shame for those types of perks to go away.
Like others, I hope their customer service, etc. will be the same as ATRS. I loved that store and placed many, many orders there. I was so upset when they went out of business.
I'm so glad! I really hope that this is true. I've really been in a funk since it closed. I was a Red Carpet club member too. I loved the variety of product that they carried. Always found something new. I liked the fact that I could get a close up view of the product too. I only wish that they had carried Nesties. I like being able to buy all my supplies in one place. It's really rather sad to have so many companies closing. This is good news!
