Very interesting. As you can see, there is not a single store in the NE, so I always enjoy visiting when I'm in the mid-West.

I'm giving it low probability that I would buy online from them becuase their shipping can add up. I do have the advantage that I would not be charged tax. There are just too many competitors out there online who will offer free shipping on minimum purchases.

I'll keep looking to see if they have a sign-up. Hopefully, once in awhile they would offer free shipping.

My opinion:

I like Archiver's purely because I can GO there to shop...but their prices are way higher than most of the online stores I buy from, so Archiver's Online is pointless to me.

The only thing I might use the online store for would be to check a price on something I need YESTERDAY to decide if I will run over there and pick it up or wait out the shipping time by ordering online someplace else to save money.

I have to do most of of shopping online, so I search for the best price and shipping. Hopefully Archivers will come out with coupons or shipping deals. Paying MSRP and high shipping is really tough in this economy.

The other thing with the online store. Is you can not use any coupons. Like you can in the store.

I read this last night on their website.

Coupons and In-store Promotions

Coupons and in-store promotions are exclusive to Archivers retail store locations only. At this time Archivers Annex is unable to redeem any print or online in-store coupons or promotions you may receive or have received.

So this is kinda of a bummer.

Looked at the site - it's easy to find stuff and the prices of the things I looked at seemed to be about the same or maybe a little higher than other sites.

Most of my online shopping is done at the smaller sites, like some of the SCS member companies, so I really would only order something from a national retailer only if I couldn't find it at one of the smaller site (kind of the online version of "shop locally" to me!).

I would love to go to an Archivers store, but the closest one is about 2 hours away so don't know when I will get there.

I like Archivers for individual sheets of paper, and they do not offer that on their new website. They just have large packs of paper. I received an Archivers gift certificate for my birthday, and I'll probably use it in store vs. online.
