I'm so thankful for the times I've been alerted to a good deal so I'm paying forward the enabling! Fun Stampers Journey cardstock is at Tuesday Morning for just $1.99 a pack!
I bought one, went out to my car to open it, then ran back in and bought one of every color they had! It's VERY comparable to SU quality, not think like a recoll. or bazz. paper - good quality paper. If you are on a budget (like me), this was a gold mine find!
I was so shocked to see this thread - I'm not an FSJ coach - I just know that FSJ is like SU - in how it's sold. Not in retail stores. So I emailed FSJ and this is how they explained it happened... so grab the goodies while you can! It's genuine card-stock just slightly off their color mark goal.
Hello Catherine
Here is the communication that was put out by our CEO:
In regards to a recent post showing the discovery of Fun Stampers Journey paper available through Tuesday Morning, please see the message from our CEO Greg Tipsord. I am writing to address comments about seeing FSJ product in Tuesday Morning stores. Unfortunately, some old FSJ Cardstock has reached Tuesday Morning shelves. This was cardstock that was produced in 2014 and came in slightly out of spec. After much deliberation in 2014, we decided not to sell it to our Coaches and Customers even though the product was "officially" in spec per our manufacturer's tolerances. We have been holding this inventory since then until the opportunity came up with Tuesday Morning. The agreement with Tuesday Morning was that they would rework the product into new bundles under the Tuesday Morning brand name. Obviously, that didnt happen. I am working with Tuesday Morning to rectify the situation. Please know that even though the product is slightly out of spec, the product is still extremely high in quality and will outperform other product in the marketplace. You should not be concerned that sub-par product is on the market. It is not. All the best, Greg Tipsord CEO Fun Stampers Journey Hope this helps, let me know if I can help you with anything else, have a great day!
Oh how fun to see the update! That's nice to see the 'official' view on it!
Since I'm the OP, I wanted to share after seeing some comments on Facebook about the colors being 'off' or it 'not measuring right'. I bought 20 packs - only 3 had MINOR issues. I could not even TELL there was an off measurement on those 3! It's not even off by 1/16th as suggested, more like a tiny 1/32 ... still a great A2 size card. I was suprised this didn't pass quality control unless I just happen to get the lucky 20 packs that were in superb shape. And even so, it's a wonderful quality cardstock - use it for an inner base, cards for donations, nursing homes, use it to cut dies! The possibilities are endless!
I make cards upon cards upon cards and am pretty picky about my cardstock. I absolutely plan to use this for all my cards This was a rare, really lucky find. I hope others are equally lucky, too ♥
Thanks for the post Kelly...I ran by my TM this afternoon and picked up about 6 packs of this paper...they did have a few more colors than what I got but I already had something similar. I opened a pack and it really is a nice weight...I was happy to get these..thanks again for passing along
I managed to get to one today. Got some 'earthy' colors and am glad I did. There were two other ladies on the same aisle and both had more in their carts!

Went to mine yesterday and they didn't have any. Either they were all out of it or never had it to begin with. Oh well. But I'm happy for you all that did get some!
Don't give up! I went into my local and they didn't have any that day. Went back 3 days later and they did have some! (But I am making DH stop at TM when we go out of town this weekend, lol!)

Agree - don't give up One of my friends just found some yesterday - way after I posted this! She lives up north, and they were just bringing it out. Good luck ♥
Perseverance pays off! I stopped at a different TM this weekend in Oklahoma City, and I got a LOAD of cs. I picked up 10 packages/9 colors. You just can't knock $1.99 cs. Plus they've been having some nice stamps, too.
So far, I've scored a total of 20 colors (27 packages).
There isn't anything wrong with this paper, in my opinion. They changed over to a new manufacturer to have more consistent color and thickness and of course true-to-size and now they have a new logo so are redoing their packaging. This older manufactured paper is wonderful and the only colors I find that have faded (in a non-sunny/hot space) are the neons- particularly the Grape Fusion.
I am no longer a Coach for this company but I can tell you that the paper is really good quality and very economically priced!
