I just heard that SP is not releasing any Boho Backgrounds! From what I heard, they are not taking backorders either. Is this true? My little heart breaks as this is one of my favs and I missed out. Whaaaaaaa!
Not exactly true -- they pulled "One of a Kind," which is on the same page, in order to fix it to work better with the Boho Blossoms punch. It should be available to order again soon. If it is messing up your Sale-a-Bration order, you can always order another stamp set of the same price and just exchange it when "One of a Kind" becomes available again.

What a clever idea?!! I never thought of this - would all demonstrators be willing to do an exchange like this? My stamp club is tonight and the order I have been planning for weeks is:
- One of a Kind
- Boho Backgrounds
- Boho blossoms punch
- Berry Bliss Paper
You need $70 in Cdn to get something free from SAB. I think I'd pick the rubons, but I'm not sure yet - the stamp sets just aren't calling my name like last year when I wanted most of them (also it's too bad they don't have a scrapbook set this year - oh well).
Anyway, when I heard that I might not be able to order One of a Kind, I was really bummed b/c I didn't just want to replace that on my order list with something I was settling for. If I can substitute something else and then exchang eit for One of a Kind when it comes out again, that would be the closest to a win-win situation, I think! I hope my demonstrator is willing to entertain this thought if I can't order One of a Kind tonight.
Your demonstrator should be willing to do it, you will just have to pay the cost of shipping the set you don't want back to Stampin' Up. As long as it is an even exchange and within 90 days, they pay for the postage back to you. Just make sure it stays in PERFECTLY NEW condition. I would definitely mention it! Just find a set the EXACT same price to substitute in.
In the US catalog, these sets are the same price as One of a Kind:

You might want to double check them in the Canadian catalog.

It was explained to me that if I purchased another set of the same value and exchanged it it would be ok, but I would have to pay shipping to return the set I'm returning. I know me, I'll spend another pile of money down the road so I didn't bother, but it might help you?

Well, you totally turned around the way I was looking at tonight - here I was disappointed that I might not be able to make the SAB stamp club night work for me - and you totally found a way for me. If you lived near me I'd have you come host a workshop for me and I'd try to get you a tonne of sales - what a great demonstrator you are!!

I just want to mention that the shipping is not a % thing. You (or your demonstrator) would need to actually take the set to the post office and pay the cost to mail it back to Stampin' Up. Whatever that cost may be. I don't know anything about postage rates in Canada. But as long as it is within the 90 day window, Stampin' Up does not charge to mail your replacement set back to you.

Thank you so much for straightening me out. You are right. It is One of a Kind. I want that one too! I will wait patiently(ya right!) til this was been rectified. Your customers should feel very happy to have you as their demo. Want to move to Northern Ca? LOL
