Saw an SCS survey on Kittie's blog the other day. I filled it out, but hate it when they ask you for your household income. I know they are trying to get a good idea of the demographics of who uses the site...
I had a LONG list of what I wanted in terms of changes. Did you?? (don't have to tell....the survey was private, after all).
I love SCS, but still feel there is always room for improvement. Do you agree?
i filled it out.. i suggested some changes (won't mention them here or i'll be shot) but i ALSO said that i'm hopelessly addicted to this site, and will be a stalker as long as this site's a running...

Thanks for the link. I wasn't aware of this survey.
I had a very difficult time coming to terms with my answer to this question:
Quote:
16. Money talks - this is the part of the survey we don't share with your spouse (just kidding - it's all confidential!) How much would you estimate that you have spent on craft-related purchases in the last 12 months?
I've been in denial and never added it up before. OMG! I wish I was still in denial. LOL!
I took it. They ask all that demographic info, I assume, to provide info to advertisers. I don't mean personally identifiable info, but stuff like 99% of our visitors are women and spend $4000 an hour on stamping stuff!!

Yeppers, all done. One comment I had was that while I know I'm in the teeny tiny minority who does NO financial stuff--read that purchasing--online. So all the Member companies do nothing for me. I find they clutter up the site... sorry to all of you who love them:(
But other than that, I have to say I love SCS! Why else does my laundry go undone, children unfed...

I filled it out. I'm hoping for a sneak peek of the fan club before I commit. I find it hard to put it out there as support when I know there is so much money in advertising here. Maybe it takes a lot more and I am just speaking in ignorance. I do know that I would like the sneak peek because I never start a subscription to a magazine without buying two or three first to see if I even like it. I can't go on someone elses opinion, because honestly I don't necessarily like what others do. KWIM

That is a good idea. I haven't subscribed either. Partly because I love the magazine I subscribe to for the same price, and I can sit in a comfortable place to look at it, not at the computer!
Did it yesterday, and I agree about the "purchasing on line" posters above. I try very hard not to do that, I know JacksonBell will give you a total and let you pay by check - if everyone did that I might purchase from them.
I get myself into trouble with Credit Cards

I agree, but you can collapse the member companies forum so you don't have to see them...that's what I did.
And yup, I took the survey as soon as I saw the link on the home page (how I enter SCS every day).
Yup, I filled it out. I had a couple of suggestions, but if they didn't ever change another thing, I'd still come here every day because it's pretty great the way it is.
Carrie, I suggested galleries from other companies, too. I suspect many of us started with SU and have branched out thanks to stamping shows, some stores and, of course, the encouraging ads here on SCS. This site is very thoughtfully put together by some real computer and stamping geniuses. We are all so fortunate to have our hobbies/careers so ably supported.

<---------agrees. I like to pay with paypal, then I know how much comes out of what budget and I don't get selective amnesia about the amount I've spent stamping.
Did it this morning! I love how this site has grown. Having said that, it doesn't support itself, so I don't mind the ads or featured companies. I can still find what I want easily enough.
