Wow! It's already 150 Ways to use it Challenges! Time flies! This week we're going to paint the town red! or white, or pink or blue...you get the picture. Pull out your PAINT and have some fun with it! Now I'm not talking about painting with inks... we want to see real honest to goodness paint here. Acrylic paint is really great for working with papercraft designs. The new Ranger crackle paint is super too. I'm sure there are other paints out there and lots of fun ideas...painting on transparencies, painting an altered item, how about masking?
Please remember to put WT150 in your keywords section and post a link back here! We'd all love to see your work! Please remember this is a challenge and not a contest...you can create as many designs as you with and there are no time limits.
I never make the first page! WOW!;) I have TONS of paints...sounds like a great challenge to me!! I'll be back later as I do have some stamp time coming my way today!! Thanks Julia!!

Now this is a challenge! Need to check out my acrylics-may be dried up. My day to volunteer at the Senior Center and also getting my hair cut and colored but will hopefully have time to *create*. Thanks.
I have a question. I thought that you could make your acrylic paint match the SU! colors by adding reinker to the paint. I tried this awhile back with white acrylic paint and the color was very dull and washed out. Has anyone done this with success? Should I be using a different base paint? I really want to play tonight - well, play between laundry.

White acrylic paint is right. I forget how many drops of reinker i used. Maybe 20 or more. Depends on how dark you want it. I haven't used it on paper but on a clipboard. You just have to keep playing. Good luck.
thanks for posting early Julia, now i can clean my stamp room after work. It is more messy that usual!! Here is my card, it is really apricot and not mustard as it looks in the photo. Hugs!!! WT150, Make Lemonade NRL by NANCYRUTH at Splitcoaststampers
Julia, I have used this acryllic paint before, but it was forgotten for quite some time. The photo does not show the shimmer of the cardstock - wish it did - it is sooo pretty. Thanks for jogging my memory about acryllic paints. Hope you like my
Acrylic paints are something I've not used on cards or chipboard but on lunch tins.....will have to try this one. Thanks Julia, I'm home sick today.

Thanks for a great Challenge Julia...I'm up much earlier than usual...hmm...let's see what I can do before I have to get the kiddo off to school...I have 45 minutes until I have to get her up...not even sure that I have paint...but I will see...if not...I can always sit this one out and be inspired by everyone else's, no doubt, inspiring work...

Well I thought this was going to be easier than it was. I first embossed the back of a pad of paper cardboard with my cuttle bug D'vine swirls. Then I painted with Delta cream coat paint. Too dull for me so I brushed on some glitter paint. Too shiny for me so I then sprayed with Memories mists amaretto. Well then that was ok. So I went to the task of making the card, and this is what I came up with.
HI! Well...Julia, I guess you have a window into my little stamping room and KNEW that I had just gotten ONE of Adriondack's Acrylic Paint dabbers!!! I really just got it to say I had one...I NEVER thought I'd use it! LOL! LOVE IT!!! Thank you for the Challenge to use it!
