It's Friday and time for another LIMITED SUPPLY CHALLENGE!! Remember what it was like before you had a whole room full of stamping supplies? Let's see what everyone can come up with from this list. Remember that you can use any combination of things on this list, but you cannot use anything not listed below. When you upload your card to the gallery please put LSC12 in the keyword section and post a link to this thread so we can all go look. This week's challenge is designed so that everyone should be able to play. It's all about GETTING BACK TO YOUR STAMPING ROOTS! Everyone is welcome to play - even if you've never done a challenge before...please join us!!!
Supplies:
Stamps:
The first 2 SU Stamp Sets you purchased (or one of the first or the oldest that you still own) - taking us back to when SU was a brand new to us. You may also include a wheel if you bought one in your first couple of SU orders.
Cardstock: US White, plus an assorted pack of bold brights
Ink: Black, Versamark, Real Red, Pink Passion, Green Galore, Lovely Lilac, Summer Sun, Bliss Blue, Mauve Mist ('cause when we're new we tended to buy random colors of ink ;) )
Accessories: Mono, Double stick tape, 2-way glue, DD Glitter, Grosgrain Ribbon, Organdy Ribbon, Stampin' Pastels PLUS Any regular household item such as bleach, staples, waxpaper, etc.
If you can't upload to the gallery you can still play at home. You don't need everything on the list to play. Just use what you have. When you post back to this thread please be sure to let us know your specific stamp sets. And if you'd like tell us why you bought that set first???
I've got mine done. I no longer have my very first set, but I did use the oldest two sets that I have. It's perfect for a little girl's birthday that I am going to tomorrow. Here's my card. Still pending at 5:30 pm
Here's my attempt at this challenge, I used smorgasborders & mini messages,as these were my first two stamp sets, given to me by my upline, as I had no stamps, had never been to a class, just signed up Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Okay this dates my stamping addiction. My first sets date back to 1999 and I can remember the first awful attempts still with pain. But I know I bought Baby Boutique and Sweet Feet with every intention of making cards to accompany the quilts I was making for coworkers newborns. After those first attempts I shelved stamping for a couple of years, but now am going strong. So some of the cards aren't great but what the hey, same with some of the quilts. I learned to accept imperfections. Here is my first set revisited. I think I could even improve this one with US White under the wheel as well. Deb Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
This is my first entry ever in the limited supply challenge, and it was hard! I wanted to embellish with this or that, and couldn't. Oh well. Here's my card, such as it is...
To add a link:
Go to your gallery and click on the card you want to link -
Once you have the card on your screen go to the address bar at the top of your screen and highlight the address by clicking on it.
Then click on Edit at the top of your tool bar and you will get a pull down menu - click on copy.
Now type in your post in the thread and click on Edit again and this time select "paste" and there's your link.
Sorry if my explanation is too simplistic. When I first learned how to do it I needed it broken down step by step
Thanks for another fun one Jami! This is my second LSC, and I look forward to the next one! I may make another card or two for this challenge tomorrow...

Well I finally did my cards. I don't know I am not really happy with them, but I think I will just leave it alone and wait for the next LSC. Think I needed more tools, stampin' write markers, colored pencils, not sure?
Anyways I made two with In the Sky, which when I used this set for another challange I made super awsome cards so I know it isn't the set.
Here is the first one, the other one I am waiting on the Liquid Glue to dry so I can scan it.
Here is my second one. I just don't know it is quite grabbing me. And I cheated I used CE with my DD to cover the moon and sun. I like mixing my DD in with CE it is less messy then, doesn't get away from me then.
Okay, here's my first stamp set ever. I've only been a demo for a little over a year. I've never uploaded anything until this. I've always been very insecure about my cards because I'm not very good yet. I'm starting to gain some confidence now.
