Default eyelets vs brads

A poll. Which is your favorite?

Mine is brads at the moment, for ease of use and cuteness

I like brads better than eyelets, due to the ease.

I like eyelets because when I'm finished, it looks like I did something really tricky or difficult, and it was really very easy. For someone like me, who is very craft disabled, that's important!!!!

Brads, they are just easier. Not sure what I'll do with all the eyelets I have and don't use.

I like brads. If I want to thread ribbon or thread I'll use the eyelets but generally don't want the hole of an eyelet with nothing going through it.

Hmmm I love them both, but I would have to choose brads. They come in all different styles, colors and soooo easy to use!

If I hadn't just done a swap with 50 brads, I would say brads. But right now I say eyelets.

I did eyelets forever and have only recently started using brads. I think they're much easier to do!

Default eyelets vs brads

I like brads better too.
Eyelets are good if you want to put ribbon or hemp etc, through them. Otherwise I usually have to color the cardstock with a marker before gluing the card front on, or you have a white hole showing.
You can still do alot with brads, string thread, wire, and fibers around them.

I used to use each about equally, but now that you can buy "brad wear", little stickers (shiny ones, alpha ones, picture ones), I brad way more than eyelet!!!

I use both depending on what I am doing. It's hard to put fibres through the center of a brad & it's hard to wrap them around an eyelet (for closing certain types of cards, etc). At the moment I am known as the Eyelet Queen by my friends! I have at least 30 different colours/styles if not more and am constantly picking up others. Plan to start getting the SU ones here soon! Just have "needed" other stuff more!

I like and prefer eyelets. I have only used brads once, it was fine, but I like eyelets I can't help it Also it is nice because eyelets come in different colors and shapes that match the SU cardstock. I know you can buy brads that are shapes and colors outside of SU. I guess I like eyelets because I use them more. Maybe if Stampin' Up brought out some shapes and colors of brads I would use them more. You know I am a SU snob so I can't use anything, but Stampin Up product

I like both.
I have found here in Canada an eyelet that is a has a solid head...no hole I would say they look like snaps.
They are kinda neat.

that might just make all the difference, there is nothing like pounding that hammer when the kids are asleep in the next room, or like when you are stamping at midnight with glazed over eyes, but you just can't stop cause you need to make just one more card for the challenge for the week

I like brads better, just 'cuz they're quieter and easier.
My scrapbook store sells eyelet brads...I can't remember who they're by...but best of both worlds I think!

Default eyelets vs brads

I like eyelets. There easy to set if you use the 1/16" circle punch from Stampin up. Put the eyelet where you want it in your card, put the hand held punch with the post through the back of the eyelet and squeeze. I found you can only do this with Stampin Up eyelets. There soft enough.

I like both. Love brads, but want SU to come out w/ some COLORED ones!

Depends on what I'm doing and my mood!

Love eyelets, but as I am usually "playing" at 1am, when DH and the babes are sleeping...I usually go with the brads. Gotta get that silent setter!!!!
