I can't decide just what I *need* with my Michael's coupon!!! I finally got the prismacolor pencils with my last coupon,so....what do I need!?! HELP!:p
Sure wish you could use it for a Cricut. Darn that fine print. My coupon was missing from the paper. Did the DH dump it while I was working? Anyway a friend is bringing me hers so I'll shop tomorrow. I'll decide when I get there.
Apparently nothing. I just came from there. I did get tons of new $1.00 stamps, but I didn't waste my coupon for .50. I wanted to get the new Take Ten Magazine but they didn't have it. Oh well, I try another local craft store later this week.

I went to buy 2 circle punches to use with Riveting, but they were already on sale, so I bought a book/magazine called Cards for all Seasons by Cardmaker magazine with several cards by Miss Julie HRR!!

I went to M's today with my coupon, hoping to buy the giga scalloped oval punch, but they didn't have it, nor did they have the mega smooth oval punch. So I came home and bought them both from createforless.com. I looked at the Crop-a-dile, but I really don't have any problem using my spring-loaded eyelet setter. So I didn't buy anything yet...still thinking, will go back later this week. I am hoping more people will respond to this thread, so I can decide what I NEED (LOL) to buy! :-) LM
I went to a "bigger/better" Michaels than my normal. I found a box of cards and envelopes by DCWV--textured paper. Great prints and stripes. Normal price 9.99 and used my coupon. They will be fun to make cards with . . . I'm addicted to buying the pads of textured paper from DCWV, so I think I'll have plenty of coordinating papers for layering.
I "did" get a coupon in my Sunday paper this week. After weeks of none, my family is glad I won't be complaining about that this week!!
You know it's time to re-vamp the store.... when we are coming here, to find something to buy. I have felt this way for awhile. They just don't get in enough new stuff. That's why I'm happy a Hobby Lobby just opened up near downtown Orlando. I've been there about 4 times and they seem to have a larger selection, and some really great clear rubber stamp sets. Most of these sets are 15.99 and with a 50% off coupon, it works out to be a better deal than the $1.00 stamps.

I got a Crop-A-Dile and I love it! I was a bit skeptical because sometimes I've bought things that others rave about, just to be disappointed, but not this time. It really makes setting eyelets easy, and they're so neat on the backside where they get squished. Took me a while to realize that the little black things actually turn for various sized eyelets! LOL
i dont get much.
probably such sparkely rhinestones (saw them in tayloredexpressions gallery)
also want the scalloped oval or cyrcle (i will probably go to joan, they take michaels coupons too)
and some double sided tape.
no cash for the prismas boooohoooooo

Darn - I wish I had another coupon to get the crop-a-dile! I didn't think of that one. I just saw a video on it and it looks like a great product. Oh well, I'll put in on my list, so I don't forget next time Michael's comes out with the 50% off coupon.

I'm with you my Michaels always has the same stuff and none of what I need!
Look close at your coupons. Some areas got some that did not have the Cricut excluded. The people at Michaels said that there was a mistake made and it was left off in some areas. My did not have the exclusion but I already have the Cricut.
I am not buying myself anything, but I am using it to buy something for my ds. I am using to buy Thomas the Tank Engine wooden trains. Gotta start stocking up for his birthday and Christmas.
ok folks, where is this 50% off coupon? Is it in this Sunday's paper? I must go check right away...I've decided that Crop a Dile thingie could be a very nice item to have. A friend of mine got one (full price, I might add!) and she loves it...very strange looking but I have some projects requiring major punching that I want to try and it would sure come in handy!!! Jan
I just got back from Michael's - I used my 50% off coupon to buy a Xyron 510 - yippee!!
I finally got that with the 50% coupon they had over Labor Day weekend. Maybe I'll get a refill cartridge, or a Crop-a-Dile if my local M's has them in stock!

They have the Cropper Hopper 12x12 paper storage, I already have one and I need another..........awesome for separating my different scrapbooking kits from SU and the Designer Paper..........Plus it's a spot to put all the "In Colors" They look all pretty sitting there on my desk.......=)
I was lucky and got a coupon in my Saturday flyer and Sunday paper! so, I get to get 2 things! I went and already bought the ribbon slot punch from Making Memories. I love the SU! one, but you can only punch on the edge. I like it, but didn't think I would have to back to hammering again :0( Next on my list is the crop-a-dile. I am not sure about this, but everyone keeps hyping it up here, I might just have to have it. Has anyone seed the Chipboard pack? I can't remember who it is by, but was by all of the metals. I am curious to see if anyone has checked it out. There are vibrant colors on it, but I am sure you can cover it. I might have to get that too. $19.99, so it is only $10 then, not bad!
I went to Michaels on Sunday, and walked around forever then decided I wasn't going to leave without using that coupon, so I got a laminator for my Xyron 510

I have 2 coupons to use and a crappy Michaels! I have never seen a Cropadile or a MM tag maker or any of the magazines/books you all are talking about at my local Michaels! The only magazines they ever have are o nes for knitting and stuff like that, I go to Barnes & Noble for stamping mags. My Michaels stinks! Heading to their website to see where the next closest one is.
Can you ask for a cupon in the store? I don't get the paper and never get cupons.
I asked once and was turned down. Perhaps it depends on ths store? However, on their web site you can sign up to receive the weekly ad via email. Maybe that would have a coupon?
I was having dreams about this thread last night. In one dream I went to my neighbors house and took her coupons out of the mailbox...In the other I was having a break down because I couldn't make up my mind over 2 different things...I think I am losing my MIND!
Anyway...I think I am going to get the MM tag maker. I have wanted that for awhile now and now as a good time.

Up here in Canada we have the same problem with M's.
So, of course when I saw the createforless, I hopped right on that sight, only to find out alas, they don't ship to Canada, even thought we have UPS here as well...... and I REALLY want the scallop punch.....:(
