Thumbs up Hiya newbie here
Hiya

I've been lurking for a while now and decided to introduce myself because I think this site is great!! I've read about lots of new tips and techniques that I didn't even know about!!
I'm from UK but I currently live in germany because hubby is in the British Forces and we are stationed here. I've been here for 5 1/2 years and think we will be here another 4. I'm a SAHM of four kids. I'm into cardmaking and scrapbooking and just love stamping. Although it's hard to find any supplies over here, I usually have to order online.
Last week I was reading about the gamsol and pencil technique. I tried to source the prisma pencils and gamsol but had no luck but I ordered some odourless mineral spirits and some derwent soft pencils. I'm hoping that they will give the same effect. Hubby has just phoned and said that they are here!! So tonight when the kids are in bed I'm gonna have a go.

A Utah welcome to you SHARY! Hope your pencils and stuff work out. I got mine from Inky Antics. They are great. You'd have to see if they ship abroad. The address is just www.inkyantics.com. If yours don't work out, you could check there for Prismas and Gamsol.

thank you all so much for your welcome . I've had a little try out with my pencils and odourless mineral spirits and I didn't quite get it as good as the ones in the gallery. I think I have to practise!!!
