Title: Celebrate Spring Hostess: peeps321 (Polly) Keyword: MIX373
Challenge: Spring officially started yesterday, March 19th. Let's celebrate Spring and make a card or project showing all things Spring. What comes to mind?? Spring flowers like crocus, tulips or maybe rain....then there's Easter, bunnies, Spring cleaning, fresh air, leaves on trees....
Remember to use two or more mediums on your card. See a list of suggested materials here.
It's been raining on & off here all week but I know it's spring because my Gazania are blooming gloriously and the packet of wildflowers I planted last week are starting to poke there little green heads through the ground . . . . Easter is just around the corner so here's my card:
The gallery is already looking very Spring like with its pastel colors and hopping bunnies. :p It's a sunny day here in MN right now although the temp is only about 21, high of 30? later...windy, too...might be too cold for a walk.
Speaking of walks, about 2 days ago I was walking on a path near the Mississippi..one of my fav spots, when two turkeys just popped up from the banks and walked with me...Amazingly they kept to the social distancing mandate and stayed 6 ft in front of me!! :lolo: I wonder how they knew...
What fun with the turkeys. I've only ever seen them in Greece. Just home from work and probably ready for a nap, but I'll definitely be along tomorrow. I like the yellow and blue colours of the early Spring flowers, daffs, forsythia, celandine, scilla, I'll probably let that inspire me because I don't often put them together. Great theme. Walking along the river before work this morning I watched a cormorant in breeding plumage fly along, and enjoyed the cherry blossoms in front of the train station and thought it's good to be alive, in spite of all that's going on.
What a terrific challenge! We are currently weathering the pandemic in the Colorado mountains and have had snow the past two days. I love snow but am ready for rain instead! It will be fun to create some colorful spring things. I am challenging myself to use stamps that haven’t seen ink.

Polly, perfect challenge. We were at 80 degrees yesterday. Rain today and back to 61 tomorrow, I believe. Then, next week back to 70's and maybe an 80 late in the week. March is iffy.

it's so nice to be thinking of spring these days - we are currently 12 above (54 F) today and with the rain, the snow is melting fast!! I'm all for it lol. This is my card for the challenge: splish splash by rokale - at Splitcoaststampers

Very fun challenge- I colored up these cute gnomes, I cannot find where this image is from (stamped or digi- no clue). I have a stack of images on my desk to color...…
MIX373 - Tiptoe through the tulips was a concept I had been wanting to do for a while. Using torn pages from a book which was being turned into a junk journal combined with tulips, the epitome of spring! Thanks for looking.
