Splitcoaststampers.com - the world's #1 papercrafting community
You're currently viewing Splitcoaststampers as a GUEST. We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: peeps321/Polly
CHALLENGE: If you ever visit our recipient’s gallery and see her scrapbook pages you know she loves to travel! She and her husband have gone on cruises, visited national parks, toured Europe. Since Sharon won’t be doing too much traveling in the coming weeks, let’s show her our favorite vacation spots or even highlights from our states/countries or hometowns.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Feel Better; Get Well Soon; Thinking of You; Religious/spiritual elements and sentiments are welcomed.
This week's Guest of Honor is SCS smadson / Sharon Madson suggested by SCS n2scrappin (LeAnn Skinner)
While visiting her daughter during the holidays, Sharon fell and broke both of her wrists. Ouch! Since her return to Wichita, she has undergone surgery to repair her wrists, of which one required a plate. She’s still recovering and, as expected, she’s been out of commission on the crafty front. LeAnn tells us that Sharon is a wonderful Christian woman who has a heart of gold. Sharon’s favorite color is blue and she loves scripture, flowers, nature, and friendship.

Be sure to you use KEYWORD MMTPT603 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to jacqueline via PM or e-mail [email protected]. Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.
I started out thinking "far away place" but my hands took a different route when I dug through my stamp drawers . . . So instead we have flowers in Sharon's favorite color.
Sharon, really hope these cards will help bring happy and pleasant thoughts your way as you recover! I only hope that some day I will be able to travel too once hubby retires at the end of this year! Here's my "Be Brave" card - Be Brave by basement stamper at Splitcoaststampers

We are away in our van at the moment and not due home till next Tuesday.
I wasn't going to worry about the weekly challenges for this week as it is just too hard to try and take crafting equipment when we travel but.... Sharon was one of the first SCS members who is still posting that I played with in my first VSN in 2011 and has always been very supportive of my creative endeavours.
I will get to work and do something for her as soon as I get home. It will be a little late but then anything from Australia is a little bit late

Oh, my goodness! I just got the mail; 15 more cards! I think I will comment on the cards, rather than send pms! I also might put a photo of all of them in my gallery and link it here later in the week! You ladies are amazing! Thank you! Polly, did I tell you, I love the theme.
What great teapots & cookies, too. I will be scrapping all of this! LOL
I'm so glad you liked the theme Sharon...we had fun making cards showing some of our favorite spots. Can't wait for you to get back to stamping and scrapping again! :p
Glad to hear Sharon is on the road to recovery. With all going on at home, I haven't been able to keep up on challenges, but made this card that had to go to my husband...commemorating our trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons:
