Color Challenge hosted by Stef with dessert of texture
Teapotters Challenge hosted by Polly for Sharon - I used a highlight of my home state of Arizona.
Things got started with finding this gold embossed and punched sentiment on Mango Melody cardstock. It was perfect for Sharon and my card. The challenge colors reminded me of a start of an Arizona sunset. I love to see the majestic Saguaro cactus silhouettes against a colorful horizon. After sponging the sunset with the three colors, I heat embossed the cactus. I tore the edge of a Crumb Cake scrap, dry embossed it with Subtle EF and sponged the tore edge.
Terrific challenges!
Praying for your recovery, Sharon!

This is gorgeous! Your sponging is the best..you've created a beautiful sky and great backdrop for that delicate cacti die cut. She'll love this. I've never been to AZ..from the looks of this scene I've been missing out big time.

Beautifully made, Diane, with the stunning sunset sky and the cactus in shadow. Perfect for both challenges and no doubt Sharon will appreciate this beauty. I know I do!
