Today we are going to make a fun and easy fold! I am not one for fancy folds that take a lot of time, but this one is quick and fun and makes two cards at once!
Take a look at Dawn's tutorial for the DOUBLE TRIANGLE FOLD.
The instructions are easy to follow and I made mine up pretty quickly! The only trouble I had was finding a paper cutter than was long enough to turn my cardstock at an angle. I didn't have one, so had to cut the last inch on each end with scissors.
Maybe you can even combine this challenge with a DTGD or today's CAS! If you are not combining with another challenge, be sure to upload your card to the special gallery for this technique: Technique Spotlight >>> Double Triangle Fold.
I remember seeing this one in the Inkling and thinking it looked nice and easy. We have company coming for dinner tonight, but there are still one or two DTGD challenges I would really like to try, so I might try to combine this with one of them. It will give me something to think about on the commute to work. Thanks, Judy.
Ooo! An easy technique? Sign me up! Can't wait to give this a try! We have company coming tonight but I hope I can steal a few minutes a few nights this week to make this fold! Thanks so much for an exciting TLC!!!

And my inside is in the Technique Spotlight gallery - I always think it's a shame when cards uploaded for big challenges don't get seen in the relevant technique galleries...
At Splitcoaststampers.com this week the Technique Lovers Challenge was to create a Tri-Fold Card. It looked interesting and so I decided to give it a try. It is a little difficult to keep the folds together so I used some clear Velcro, but I like the look.
his is the second card I created using the Tri-Fold Cardbase. For this card I decided on a landscape orientation and adhered by patterned paper on the bottom left of the cardbase. I added a square of dark gray cardstock to be the base for my focal image, which was a cupcake stamped using Altnew’s Layered Cupcake stamp and die. Thanks Judy. It was fun to try this new-to-me card fold. I did not upload it to the technique gallery because I couldn't follow the entire tutorial. I explained in my description.
I loved this technique SO much! New techniques usually scare me off (they seem so complex!) but this one was straightforward, simple to execute, and will be super fun for the recipients!
