My son has me hooked on another show I thought I'd never watch! The Walking Dead! I'm into season 2 episode three next. I watched an episode of season six or seven and told him I didn't like it. Then he brought season one down and I could see how it began! Its very gory at times, so I close my eyes then, but the storyline is very interesting!
A virus starts killing people once they've contracted it. Then they die and then they come back as walkers or zombies. You can't get bit by them or you're a goner! The survivors have to stay alert because walkers show up everywhere and the only way to completely take them out is gruesome hits to the head. Yes, never thought I'd get hooked but the survivors storyline is really good. I have to tell Kandie that after watching this, Supernatural is nothing in gore!
Kathy, I got hooked on the Walking Dead as well. Stabbing zombies was nothing, because I know it’s all makeup and I bet the actors had fun playing the parts. But one show a few seasons in had such a disturbing storyline that it really bothered me, and I never watched it after that. It was the storyline in Supernatural that got to me. I cannot stand torture. DH can’t stand anything about children being hurt. We both have our stops.
At the moment we are going British, lol. I am hooked on the Inspector Lynley mysteries, and I found Miss Marple on Netflix and Amazon and now when there’s nothing on, we watch Miss Marple solving crimes in her quiet way.

Yup both of my sons that work together are sick. Their last client they went to one of their employees was out with the flu and they were working right near the guys work station! Go figure!!
Son is worse this morning!! Keeping my fingers crossed that if it hits the rest of us it will not be so bad!
Going back to bed, I have a headache and didn't sleep well!! Later...
G'mornin Crew!!! Praying for everyone to feel better!!! Jennifer pm'd me she is still very very sick. She said she has a ton of scripts but no insurance. That poor girl. She sends her love to everyone!!!So....what can we do so our crew is up and crafting with smiles and healthy bodies??? I know I am praying hard!!!!
My granddaughter, Rachael, is a Walking Dead freak. Her room is all decked out in it and everything. She just loves it. I myself, will pass. I would end up with nightmares.
Trying to push myself to do stuff today. So far I've only exercised a little, had coffee and downloaded the bible study my mom likes. The sun is shining, which is always a big help!
Good morning! It is funny how, when it is cold outside, the 58 degrees we keep the house at night feels colder than 58 in the morning. I turned the heat on this morning because DD2 has mentioned being cold in the morning and I wanted to help her get going. Both girls were so tired last night when they got home from rehearsal - and that was only the first day of this busy week. DD1 is nervous because opening night is Saturday night. She'll be fabulous, I'm sure.
Kandie - I'm sure you have already seen Poirot. I love David Suchet in that role. He is the best. I just mention it because you are enjoying Miss Marple.
Ann - oh no! Praying for your sons and you, that they get well quickly and you avoid getting it. Yes, get some rest!
Good morning Melody! I made two cards for yesterday's TLC challenge. It was fun!
Dani - good morning to you too! I'm sorry to hear that Jennifer is so sick. Praying for her!
Kathy - glad I'm not the only one who had to google Amaranth. I had no idea what color it was!
Kandie - with the weird weather we've been having - so warm in the mid 70s for a week or so - people with allergies are really suffering here. Thankfully, whatever I'm allergic to hasn't bothered me yet. Every spring I have allergy issues. I didn't have allergies before living here in the Sacramento area.
I don't have to watch little man tomorrow because my sister has bronchitis and isn't going to work. So now I may take mom for a haircut instead. Thursday DS has his post op appt and stitches removed. He's hoping he can have an Arbys roast beef sandwich afterwards!
Catherine, oh YES, David Suchet is by far the best Poirot. I have my favorite Miss Marple as well, and she is not the one we watched last night. My favorite wore long gauzy skirts and wore a heart-shaped magnifying glass around her neck on a ribbon. I told DH Poirot was next on my list for him to watch.
By the way, did anyone see the recent news report on the lady who has a stroke and woke up with a British accent. Apparently its either happened three times to her or this is her third time. One of the other accents was Portuguese! How weird is that?
Card done for CAS and CC. I dont like it, but its okay for an everyday card.

I haven't heard this recent one kandie, but I have heard of others who had the same thing happen and they woke up with accents.
By the way, if anyone needs some humor, I'm reading a book of short stories called Faith, Hope, and Hilarity and it has multiple authors (Patsy Clairmont, Barbara Johnson, Chonda Pierce, etc). Anyone who would like to read it, I'd be glad to pass it on. (U.S. residents only, due to postage costs). I was thinking it might be fun to pass it around! Let me know if any of you are interested. You could read it and then send it on its way to someone else!
Oh yes, I have two bottles of the zinc sitting here and stuffing them in my sons mouth when he comes downstairs!! Me too of course! Hopefully building up my system!
Feel so bad for Jennifer, she has been sick for some time! Think if we can lets send her a get well card!
Sounds like a great book, Kathy, I would love to read it too!!
