Happy Mix-Ability day! These have been some busy, busy weeks - behind the curtain here we refer to this time of year as SEPTOCTEMBER because of the blur that it becomes! I thought it would be nice for this week to have an inspiration piece to guide us instead of something that makes us really think. Hopefully everyone is cool with that! I do love October with all its colors and chills and decorations - I pulled all my flowering plants in last night but I do still have some pumpkins on the porch (not painted or carved - don't judge) - so let's use this photo to inspire our mixed media creations this week:
Remember, for your project to truly qualify as mixed media, you need to use at least 2 different types of art media. You can click HEREfor a list of supplies you could choose from.
Please remember to put in the correct keyword (MIX248) when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos. Then come back to this thread and paste a link to the card in your gallery so we can all ooh and ahhh! Go forth and create!
Ooh, I had to drive through the mountains yesterday ( it was work related we won't mention I enjoy 99% of the whole deal) and the colors on the trees were just breath-taking. ( finally) I have been checking every time I go
so, I came home with my head and heart full of Yellow ( which is funny its not my favorite but, all the rusts and reds and purples smoothed it out) Its gonna be way late from me but, I love this prompt Dina.
Pumpkins are a bit de trop in this neck of the woods, and I've mailed the only Halloween card I need so I just went with that colour palette. I struggle hugely with colour challenges so I just did my best...

I think this qualifies if not let me know and I'll delete it from the gallery. It has a fall theme, feathers, ribbon, embossing, chalk, burlap, metal, and ink for sponging and some stamping on the boots.
Wonderful challenge, especially combined with the F4A402 of Did You Say Kitchen Sink. My fingers are stained with alcohol Inks, Distress Inks, glue, I have burlap and cork all over my craft area, and I had a blast. Thanks!
