My card today is for both of the Friday Challenges - Jeanne's Free for All is to use some fiber - I used a piece of Linen Ribbon.
Dina's Mix Ability challenge is Fall inspiration - I used Rusty Hinge Distress acrylic paint on the mini leaf stencil and then smooshed Ranger Distress inks in Fossilized Amber and Hickory smoke onto my craft mat - spritzed with water and dabbed my panel into the yellow first, dried it, and then dabbed the panel into the black. The paint resists the ink and so the leaves show through.
I stamped this lovely quote sentiment from Alison Bombers set for PaperArtsy in the corner, layered the panel to a piece of Canyon Clay and knotted a piece of Linen Ribbon around it (I love this Idea-ology ribbon as you can spread the ends for this lovely frayed look) - I then layered it all to my rustic cream card base and added 3 gray glittery enamel dots.
This is also card #4 for the Falliday Fest - I'm trying to get Yeti status by completing 7 weekly challenges!
