IC19 - Children's Book (Inspiration Challenge)
Inspiration Challenge #19 (Don't forget to add IC19 to your keywords please!)
Today's inspiration comes from the cover of a children's book. Take your inspiration from the layout, the cover, or the theme (child, pig, etc.)
Feel free to translate the inspiration item into a card, a scrapbook page, or another project. Be inspired by the colors, layout, theme, or anything else -- this is up to your own interpretation!
Here is my card: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I was inspired by the grid-like layout and the large letters. Since I am also part of the Christmas Challenge, I did a winter season card instead of using the red color.
I have a few ideas floating around in my head for this one. I have a really busy weekend, but will try to get something together today sometime.
I am really busy making swaps... I am going to Regionals this weekend at Atlantic City. Seems I have gone a bit over the top with my swap card. I will upload my swap with the IC to my gallery.
I got mine done. This totally changed from how I started out. I was going to make a red & white card, with maybe a little black accent. Well, it's basically red & white, but... it just sort of evolved as I went. Here's my red roses.

This is a horrible busy weekend, so if you can play, I'd love to see what you come up with. I just finished picking up my main floor so I can have Easter in a civilized place...now I'm off to help my mom w/ taxes. I'll be back on later tonight to check it all out! Thanks all!
Wow, Karen, what a challenge. I saw 12 squares and added 4 more and started from there with no idea where I was headed (lol). For some reason I couldn't get the pig out of my mind and naturally didn't have a pig stamp so resorted to b/w clipart. I have a sweet great-niece named Olivia and know she got an Olivia book for Christmas last year. Think this should go to her.

I finally have mine done, I've played with it on and off all day. I was inspired by the pigs and people clothing. I first was inpired by any animal in clothing and my first attempt using the Michael's dollar stamp was pretty scary!
My prediction for dirty girl was right and Joni you were a dirty girl last week with your leather and lace!
I'm way late on this one. I had my inspiration the minute I saw the challenge but wasn't able to get the time to do the spinner card that came to mind. It wouldn't leave me alone until I made it. Here is my idea,
I just found this challenge so I am a little late! I really liked this inspiration & had a lot of fun~~ guess I will have to try out all the others too.
