I am a new resident of the freezing cold state of MN....moved here from Wisconsin...which I thought was cold. I live in the north western part of the state and it is beautiful!
I've been stamping for a very long time, been a member of SCS for almost as long. and I love it here! so much talent and inspiration- and everyone is so willing to share what they know.
some random tidbits about me
Been married to my very supportive hubby for 22 years
I am a mom to 4....boy, girl, boy, girl (yep planned it that way;))
I work as a caregiver in a small home for elderly people with dementia, a horribly difficult job that I LOVE.
I am a diet coke addict.
LOVE the SyFY channel
I read a lot....(mostly YA books) I like to read what my kids are reading
I lost my mom to breast cancer 6 years ago this month...always thought it was interesting that she passed during Oct. She was only 62.
Looking forward to this month!
So nice to meet another diet coke addict! I'm feeling social pressure to stop drinking it because apparently it causes everything bad in the world ;)
LOVE your family photo -- especially the flasher on the right!
Brrr - it's cold enough in my attic today (60F till it warms up a bit!) without seeing all that snow, LOL. What a great photo, though. I admire you for your work! That is not an easy job, how wonderful that you love it.

Oh my gosh! He did that on like 15 pictures and I didn't realize it. we all went back in, I loaded the pictures on my computer and NOT ONE had him with his shirt down! Made the fam get all dress up again and go back out for more pictures....he kept his shirt down after that

Too funny! Love your picture! And you are my hero for your job. My grandmother lived in a care facility the last two years with her Alzheimers. So big hugs and thanks to you.

What was your son thinking? Oh wait, he's a young boy, he's not thinking! I have one just like him only he makes faces. LOL Your family photo is hilarious.

Thank you for saying that! ....It is a very demanding job, both physically and mentally but I do love the residents and try to treat each one of them as tho they were my loved one.
Natalie your family picture is so fun!!!! Your son has me rolling though. It's cold out there!! My husband is from MN and all of his family but us live there. We live in GA where it's warm. It's so great that you love such a difficult job! It takes a lot of patience to do what you do, you are very special!
