Default Kitty

Petu2000, I just love your kitty! It's so cute the way many SCSers have their pets as avatars! Why didn't I think of that! (probably because we have 4 cats and they wouldn't all fit, har, har.)

I just saw this post & went to see if my Big Lots had anything left. There were no embossing folders but I did pick up one die & lots of Martha Stewart items. Does anyone know if they will be getting in more? I asked the store manager but she said she did not even know what they were.

Hi Ladies --

Putting a plea out there - did anyone happen to pick up (1) of the Cuttlebug "Puzzled" dies when Big Lots was carrying them. I would LOVE to buy one if someone would be willing to sell. I work with adults with autism and of course, puzzles pieces is the symbol for autism. Thanks for looking. Janice

Janice,

I never saw any of the puzzle dies at Big Lots, but I bought a Sizzix one recently through the Sizzix Outlet online. I went together with a few friends to get free shipping, and we got some great deals!

HTH!

Thanks for responding Sophia,

Does the Sizzix brand have four puzzle pieces? The Provocraft/Cuttlebug die is the full die like the Mickey & Harlequin dies B/L offered. Anyway, there are many more pieces on the Provocraft die and I think I would have a number of ways to use them. In the end, I may have to buy the Sizzix. Thanks again!

BTW, our store didn't have it when I arrived either! I know some gals on here were successful in finding though.

I go the Sizzix Puzzle #2 die, and it has 6 pieces to it. I've never seen the Cuttlebug one, so I don't know how it compares. It's about 3x4" or so cutting surface, though. HTH!

Yes, but then you have to pay shipping. I thought their shipping charges were a bit high. Towards the bottom of the auction it's listed that shipping is $7 for 1-8 dies.

If you are just buying one die and then are charged $1.00 US Postal Service First Class Mail it's a good deal.

Even with shipping they r great prices
Some of those dies were 17.99
and they are listed for .99 with a 1.00 shipping
I just thought I would mention it for those who have not found some of these at big lots
Not sure when the 7.00 charge is charged but I just placed 2 separate orders and was only charged 1.50 for shipping on each order
I ordered 2 dies for each auction won

Just a reminder ... this thread was originally posted in May, 2010. ;)

Personally, I'm not dashing down to Big Lots today, checking for the C'bug folders. However, we never know just what we might find there!

;)
