Hints for a successful entry
Use multiple posts in your thread if you need to, don't worry about cramming everything into a single post.
You'll want to be creative. Be an attention-getter, it's okay, really.
Remember to put your entry in its own thread. Don't post your entry to someone else's thread (or we'll delete it! {insert evil cackle}).
Do reply to others' entries, and let them know if yours is more deserving. Taunting is *not* required.
You'll be free to edit your thread at any time, use that info how you will.
If you'd like to share photos in your gallery as well, please load them to this gallery, using the ImAMess keyword (not case sensitive). Make sure to include links in your forum thread.
How to Win
We'll take entries thru 12:00 CST on Friday, October 9, 2009. At that time, our panel of judges will choose 10 finalists.
We'll set up a new thread on Monday, October 12, 2009, and the community will decide who needs the Original ScrapBox the most.
At 12:00 CST on Friday, October 16th, we'll have a winner!
The Fine Print
1. Only one entry per person please.
2. The prize is not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded. Shipping will be covered by The Original ScrapBox.

5. The Original ScrapBox retains the rights, in its absolute and sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of any prize or component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.
6. Contest open to our friends in the Continental US and Canada. Contest judges, site volunteers, moderators, Dirty Dozen design team members (past and present) and site employees are not eligible to win (sorry!).
7. Decision of our judges will be final.
This is such a nice idea!! Fortunately, for me, I am satisfied with my little space of wall and I know there are others who really struggle with tight situations. . . so I won't be entering, but I think it's really fun for you to team up with them and do this!!
This system is amazing. I have seen it before and only dreamed of having it.
Right now my scrap area consists of a small dark cold area of my unfinished basement. I have carpet remenant on the floor and milk crates stacked on folding tables. The tables have 2 different patterned plastic table clothes on them. When you look back there the only thing that comes to mind is yuck did someone spill something over there. It is just amazing that anything great can come out of there, but occasionally something finds it way out.
My husband took over the garage. So that space is unavailable:( I have a 5 foot section of an old countertop given to me by my employer. It's propped up on two old end tables that have drawers for my stamp storage. It's not pretty, but it does create some "space" so I can continue with my favorite hobby. I really could use some organization, PLEASE!!
My stamping area is my little kitchen table. This means that family meals aren't the same anymore! My son in his high chair and my husband and I on the couch with tv trays :( Some supplies are kept in a plastic 3-drawer rolling storage container that is so heavy its bowing in the middle and I can hardly open the drawers. I'm sure my husband would agree that not only would this keep my growing collection of supplies organized but it bring us all back together for dinner times to!! Good Luck to everyone else worthy (and to me too!).

Blah! I just moved my stamp room disaster from downstairs, to a new freshly painted room upstairs, so apparently I won't be winning . . . but I will post after pictures sometime soon . . . it is almost all pretty!
i just might take a photo right now-you can't see my carpet!
your DH could build you something, mine isn't that handy, BESIDES who's gonna upload to your gallery? OR are you gonna link the pics of your room in MY gallery. This might be your incentive to learn some puter skills, but I think I need it more!!!!!!

Ohhhh!!!! Something to think about! Need to put some time into this one! Wouldn't it be FABULOUS to win something this WONDERFUL!?!?!?!?!
EEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~!
OMW!!! I *need* this sooooo badly! A picture says a 1,000 words and I should post one of how bad my craft room looks - but its soooo embarassingly messy and unorganized I don't think I could show my face around anymore!

headed over the scrapbox forum .....
C'mon now, the winner will know NO shame! Let's see whatcha got!
I think this prize MIGHT be worth emigrating for!!!! LOL best of luck all you Kanuks & Yankee Doodles! ;) just joking - you go for it, it sure is a fabulous prize & I am very green with envy here. I have 5 spiderman cardboard boxes and a small 2 shelf cupboard in my kitchen/dining room that I work out of on the kitchen table *sigh* ce la vis.
OMGOODNESS!!! Some of us may have to show some courage and take some pics...I can also get my friends' testimonies. Only one friend has had the hmm..pleasure of seeing my craft room, last week in fact. I don't know if some other friends would even have the courage to enter the room! It is quite scary. You'll see...
Jenn, you could drive a little north and see with your own eyes too!
(sheepish smile here)

I saw this and immediately thought HEAVEN! This is too nice to own! I am presently spread out over (4) six foot tables, in the corner of my cold gray concrete basement amongst my computer, 1000+ stamps, drawers of ink, tools and accruchaments, my stereo, my one small window, wall heater for winter, my "Sex and the City" wall poster, my cd's, dvd's, craft books, paper, drawers of doodads, boxes of ribbons, my Copic's, my Cricut, my Cuddlebug, my Xyron, my cardboard sunshine I made for my son's Greek project, and my washer and dryer! Where I spend thousands of hours a year creating...I think it should go to someone who really needs it...GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! I love the tag line; "Quit Messing Around!" So true!

being cheeky here but just wondering is there gonna be runner up prizes for the 2nd and maybe 3rd winners for a workbox half that size lol
just teasing tho gotta love that workbox
What a fabulous idea!!!! I am going to enter! My space is cramped and somewhat disorganized! It takes forever to find stuff! Organization is highly needed! I am excited just that this is a possibility, I will be very happy for the person that wins, but I sure hope it's me!
What an awesome competition - trouble is DH would never consider emigrating for such a reason, so I will stay happy in my corner, which he has so generously provided, even if I have nearly expanded out of it :-) - and he considers it a mess, but I consider it organised............ depends on your perceptions :-)
OMG!!! I could so use this prize. Good things come to those who wait. I am waiting patiently...Thanks for the chance to win. Be blessed and thanks for being a blessing! You Rock!!!
Oh yes, you'll be seeing my hot mess...oh, my stamp room...very shortly. Have you seen Hoarders on A&E...yep, that's what my room looks like!
this doesn't even begin to describe my stamp mess. I can't even enter the room right now. I lost my mojo cause of it and it's the source of a lot of major arguments w/my not so dh. He would love y'all forever if I won this cabinet. i will post pics later. I am completely disorganized and will probably never become organized. I know this would help me fake it.

Can we nominate someone other than ourselves? My friend just had a baby and all her craft supplies are now piled in a corner in her living room. I would love for her to win this organization system!
Phantom, I'm like you -- I really don't want/need it. My DH redid a bedroom a couple of years ago and built me specially-built cabinetry which fits me to a tee. Also, we move every 6 months back and forth from FL to NC and back so what I can pack for the move to NC is limited and there's no space in my bedroom in NC; just a little nook in my BR. So, I do hope whomever wins this gorgeous piece of furniture has a good place for it.

Oh how I wish I could enter.... but I'm not in the Continental US due to my DH being in the good ol' US Navy! Guess I'll have to hope for another contest when we make it stateside again...
