i had posted in my gallery, maybe eons ago ;), samples i created of a template for paper cutting and examples of card layouts, for a OSW technique that was widely distributed on the net.
i continue to get personal requests to email the file and never thought to post them here [some 'oldies' might remember a time at SCS before we had a downloads forum ;)].
so i thought i should post the files here to the board so people can find them and use them. i hope you find my file useful!
my gallery includes a card set here. and, you'll find TONS of ideas in the OSW gallery too.

Thanks for sharing. This is the first 8 1/2 x 11 template I have seen. Of course, this is new to me, too. I'll be trying this out to make some note cards for some friends.
I downloaded the template and I'm just wondering - do you just use white pre-folded cards for these? Or do you make your cards to coordinate with the printed papers?
Thanks
AWESOME! Love this template I especially like the fact that I can use a
8 1/2 X 11 sheet... most of the others use a 12 x 12 sheet.

I cut out the actual template and copied it to fit an 8.5 x 11 sheet. Then I copied it onto the back of my cardstock. I randomly stamped all over the front of the cardstock. When I was done I flipped it over and had the guide to cut everything out! I actually made 8 cards and consolidated a couple of Cat's examples.
i LOVE your cards - very cute! i'm a big fan of kim hughes [and CHF] as well. thanks for posting the link!

great idea! i've had stampers ask about this, so your tip should help out!
AWESOME - your template rocks - neat and clean - easy to follow and so handy! Thanks so much. I like the idea of literally printing out the first sheet of your template onto card stock and then using the other side as the DP (whether it is DP or it's CS that you stamp to make DP) and then cut on the lines that are on the back. Makes it quick and easy. WONDERFUL! Thanks a million

Thanks for the info! I just heard about this recently and have been looking for more information! Thank you for sharing the templates- I really appreciate it!
Thank you! I got this many moons ago from you but lost EVERYTHING on my computer in July when my lovely daughter downloaded a virus by mistake. grrr. I appreciate you posting this
this is the best instructions and layout I've seen for the OSW yet!!! Thanks so much for sharing! I've saved several of these instructions but never have tried it, but now I will for sure, you could not have made it any easier or more organized. I so appreciate all the effort that goes into the samples, tutorials, instructions, etc. that are posted on SCS. This is such a wonderful website. Anyway, thanks so much for your OSW- it is terrific!
Thanks for the OSW pattern and I am making gift sets of cards for Chirstmas this year and this makes life easy !!
how cool! will you be using the same images/colors for each set? using different stamp sets or colors would make your sets similar, but each one unique be sure to post pictures when you're done!
Not for sure yet but maybe I will do them in different colors and then similiar stamps but as soon as I get some done I will post a pic(s)
