Isn't it funny how everyone is so different? The Crop-A-Dile story is a hoot! I would have left the CDs on the tree too. I think that is a fun thing.

I'm extremely happy with my Tiffany earrings! I have just been placing "stamp" orders all day so I'm okay.

Dallas doesn't cook for me but once or twice a year so I will just continue to eat the Shake 'n Bake and boxed mac & cheese. He is so proud of himself. He lit candles and poured wine for me when he served dinner. It isn't that I HATE the Shake 'n Bake but I do not prefer it. But, he's too sweet so I just can't do it.

Loved this thread. I have been married since high school -- almost 50 years. For the last few years I've shopped for my principle Christmas present myself. I call dh on the cell and tell him how lucky he is. I just bought.... This year I bought a Scorepal -- not on sale or with a coupon. Went to a jewlery show and let him know he is lucky again. I found a beautiful tiger eye necklace. He is thrilled he is off the hook and I get what I want. He always surprises me with a few things he thinks of himself that are always just perfect. He goes to a Woodworking show in the fall and picks up his presents too. All I have to do is find a few extras. Frankly it is nice to be able to indulge knowing your splurge is covered by the Christmas budget.
