This week our destination is Deatsville, AL and we are throwing a ValentineÂ’s Day party for Sara and Leavie!
I woke up Saturday morning in the midst of the NE blizzard to find SheriÂ’s cheater email. I read through it and knew exactly what I wanted to make for a card. Off to the craft room, made my card and came back to my computer to get the addy for the destination. I scanned over SheriÂ’s email again looking for the addy when I stopped and started re-reading the Challenge Translation. WAIT A MINUTEÂ…whereÂ’s the part that said Sara likeÂ’s Scrabble? I know I read that she likes ScrabbleÂ…eekÂ…where is it? RUT RHO!! ItÂ’s not there. But, butÂ… I just made a card that looks like a Scrabble board!!!!!! Truth be told, I don't know why I got so focused on making a scrabble board card but, I did! To justify my stupidity, IÂ’m blaming it on the stress of the blizzard! Yup, thatÂ’s my story and IÂ’m sticking with it!!!
Now for the deets - Very Vanilla CS scored to create my Scrabble board. Letters from SU’s Just Perfect alphabet stamped in Basic Black on VV and punched with a ¾” square to create my message. I sponged edges of tiles and board with Crumb Cake and added little flowers, hearts with pearls and a bow. Mounted board on SU’s Basic Black and then a base of Crumb Cake.
Hope you enjoy my scrabble board, crossword, puzzle thingy and thanks for looking!

LOL - I LOVE your card and immediately thought it was a crossword. Blizzards do stange things to your brain, it makes you store information from the week before (scrabble and yahtzee). Gorgeous card and going into My Favs.

I actually thought it was a crossword puzzle when I first saw it! I love it. It's so clever and the message is downright sweet. She is sure to love this too.

This is clever! I love the way you made the sentiment into a scrabble board. Sure to bring a smile to Sara's face.
