Was inspired to create a Camouflage background...I don't make enough masculine cards, and obviously Military in this case.
So, I found a video online of a cartoon artist showing us how to.draw camouflage. It's real simple. First, I highly recommend using watercolor paper for this! It works great for filling in marker drawn images. Start with your darkest color, creating splotches and funky designs on your base layer with a marker. I filled them in as I drew them.
Once done with your first color, take a second color.marker and do the same, making sure not to overlap the first images (draw as though it goes underneath. Then again with another color. I used my third color to fill in the remaining space.
If you want to blur the lines a bit more, though it shouldn't need it too much, use a blender pen or aqua brush.
After the camouflage is.created...looks pretty cool on it's own...I used the hero "stamps" (I have mine cut up individually) to stamp over the camouflage. If you try your best to stamp color on color it blends into the camouflage even more!
Ta-da! I love it, will have to do it again!

And this is masterful. Thank you for the tutorial - I will use it, you know I will. Maybe it's because we like to set a stage? Don't know yet, but something about your style draws me. I also cut images apart. I don't have these stamps, but have retired ones I love that would work handsomely with the cammy background. Thanks for sharing!
