This is my card for today's ways to use it challenge. The challenge was to make a card using something in your spice cabinet or kitchen.
This is my story!
1. You wonder about the title of my card? Well, I spent over an hour this morning trying to build an igloo out of sugar cubes for Peter the Penquin whom was created specifically for this new dwelling!
2. I suppose I am not a builder as I failed miserably and pretty much got sick of dealing with sugar all over my stamping counter and scrapped the whole idea.
3. Peter is a little sad as he was looking forward to a new home but he'll just have to live with Mom and Dad until something else pans out!
4. So, that brought be back down to the kitchen with very little time to throw something together.
5. I made this card in about 30 minutes. Yikes! Coulda done a better job probably but oh well.....
6. I got this cute little tea-pot cork board at Joanne's for a buck and the awesome little acrylic pocket box can be found at:

I'm kinda glad your little sugar igloo didn't pan out cause this is fabulous. I really like these boxes that you use to hold stuff on your cards. That cork trivet is so cute and so is the teapot.
By the way, did you get the pictures I sent?

I feel your pain on the sugar- crystal effects + sugar do not mix! ANYWAY- this lovely creation is perfect! I love your colors, how the tea is lined up, the cork pot....I love everything about that cute ensemble you made!
