Thanks for such a great sketch, Roxie: TheyÂ’re always a mental exercise for me, which was certainly true today.
Anyway, I donÂ’t know if you have to turn this card upside down or sideways to make it work for this challenge. I canÂ’t quite figure it out myself! ItÂ’s fairly obvious my mind has it own way today: This is so out of my comfort level, and I just have no idea where it came from.
MANY THANKS TO SHELLAPOO FOR THE IMAGE and JOJOT FOR THE ASIAN PAPER!
The only creative thing I think I managed to do was pull out some real bamboo from an Asian arrangement and use it as a curtain rod of sorts.

Anne,
This is gorgeous. I love all the embellishments with the bamboo rod and fibers and coins. You outdid yourself on this one, my friend! I can see why it's a Sunday favorite. I missed it this week--glad someone favorited it so I could see it.

I almost don't know what to say! This has such a sense of serenity with the richness of the colors and the delicacy of the image. This goes far beyond a 'card' and has become art. Simply wonderful.

Gorgeous Anne! You have such a flair with Asian art, and this is no exception! I love the fibers and the bamboo really reminds me of an Asian wall hanging I had many years ago. Beautiful card!
