I have made my share of macrame pot holders and owl wall hangings. This really brought back the 70's for me. Well, not your card, it's the *new* 70's macrame look!

I remember all that stuff! You were really somebody if you were sporting a macrame belt with beads on it hanging down from your hip huggers! Bwahahhaa!

I made several of those owls in girl scouts ... and I'm sure they're still hidden away somewhere ... and oh the bracelets ... what a fun card ... thanks for the Friday flashback.

Oh yes, this is a trip down memory lane! I had forgotten those owls... but how I don't know... I made enough of them! Them, and the plant holders complete with butterfly beads, and shawls, and yes, belts... oh yes, I remember it well. Might even still be able to dig up the board we used to work on! LOL! Now you know my age bracket! Great card... great job with your macrame!

That is 100% pure FUN!! It is such a cute idea. PS...I think macrame is better than those gigantic wooden spoons and forks my parents had...did anyone ever see that episode of Everybody Loves Raymond...it was one of the best! Hee!
