Thanks for the early post and for subbing for Roxie.
Have to admit that when I first saw this sketch I had no idea where it would take me.....so I went to my already stamped images and found this 'self portrait' and had a great idea with some fab flip-flop ribbon I have........well.....after getting the main image ready, the ribbon idea just did not work out.....but then........it took on a life of its own rather quickly......first I stamped the water image and colored it......nah....too messy.....so I then split the back panel into two and butted the two pieces together to make one panel for sky and water......I think it worked pretty well......
anyhoo......this was one that kind of developed from a failed idea.....
thanks for looking.....and the early posting....this East Coast gal can actually get to bed brfore midnight....wowza......

This is absolutely adorable - love the scene split between the base card and the oval. Beautifully done!!!!!

What a web you wove with this one! Love that story. The story is just as fabulous as this card! Wow, am I impressed with your self portrait card! What a hoot you are. Self portrait, yeah right. You know better than that....it's my self protrait ~ so I want you to know how thankful I am that you said it was your self portrait! that's what I call a real friend! This is absolutely one remarkably fun card! Love everything about it. You be the one winner today, girl!

What a smarty you are to bring the fonds into the oval--that bathing beauty is a HOOT and cracks me up (at least her bathing suit fits which is more than I can say for mine(LOL)!! Those warm, relaxing days aren't far off! Great work, gf!
