I thought about doing a real Aura Technique card for this gallery, but this is as close as I got. It's only kinda/sorta an aura card. But it IS the first direct to rubber I've done with my twinkling h20's. The more solid (base) stamp is done with Sweet Lavender and the detail (top) stamp is done with the darker Periwinkle - the leaves are done with Fern and Olive Vine. For more dimension, I overstamped the detail stamp and stem stamps with Versamark and detail clear EP. I overstamped the whole piece with Fine Lace and Almost Amethyst, then for the aura effect I sponged the edges with Lavender Lace (closer to the image) and the Lovely Lilac (closer to the edges). I finished with stamping all around the edges with the splatter stamp using the Lavender, Lilac and Encore Silver inks.
The background was done on white cardstock with the detail stamp, random stamping first with Almost Amethyst, then Lavender Lace, then Lovely Lilac and finally with Encore Silver. To create more texture and dimension, I overstamped with Canvas and Versamark, embossed with detail clear EP. I sponged over it with Sahara Sand to bring out the grid of the Canvas stamp, and sponged the edges with Lavender Lace. This clear embossing makes the Silver Encore much more shiney. I really wish I didn't have to cover up so much of this background. Sigh. This card measures 5 x 6 1/4.
The silver ribbon charm is a gift from my good friend leslierich. Thanks again, Leslie! :o)

What incredible dimension this has, Linda, and I bet those h20's are fabulous on this stamp . . . who'da thunk it (you!). Love these colors and how you framed everything with the two-tone sponging -- just gorgeous!

Oh Linda, your artwork is so fabulous I'm running out of words! and breath! This is so pretty- every layer is a feast. The colors are lovely, and the whole effect is simply charming. And that tag is the perfect finishing touch. TFS!
Hugggs!
