Our Teaparty Challenge for this month is to "Do The Wave.
After spending time looking for my favourite big wave stamp and not finding it - it has to be here somewhere packed away nicely in one of my boxes!!! - I gave up and looked through my coloured images to see if there were any "waves". Success.
The image was stamped, embossed and coloured with Derwent Inktense Pencils. Some sparkle was added to give the waves and sea some glitter. The sentiment was stamped and embossed and coloured. I used the Uniquely creative nested stitched and scalloped dies to frame the image and added a selection of die cut seashells - they were cut from leftover scraps of water colour card.
Its the middle of winter here now and I would give anything to get away to this beach and wander for a few hours in the sunshine looking for shells. Even the palm trees are waving to me in the gentle breeze. Just dream on Helen.
Hope you enjoy.

Helen, you never fail to wow and this card is stunning. I love the refreshing tones of the water and sky, and the whole scene is just so beautiful - I want to visit it! Lovely card!!

A beautiful scene beautifully coloured. We are humid and warm here now but leave tomorrow for Alaska. So hard to know what to pack! I love the pile of shells in the corner. I have a couple of clear glass vases filled with shells from tropical travels. Gorgeous card!

This is so much more gorgeous in real life! The shimmer is mesmerizing. I'm thinking about framing it, so I can hang it up. I absolutely am in love with this card.
