I made this card for the letter T Alphabet Challenge. I do believe this is the first tropical card I have ever made and I am quite pleased with how it turned out considering it started out as an experiment. I first cut out the oval aperture, then stamped the palm trees to fit inside the aperture. Then it was a matter of masking the trees off in order to stamp the water, sand and birds. The Flamingo, hibiscus flowers and leaves are all layered stamping and fussy cut out. The banner is stamped and hand cut too. I really enjoyed making this tropical card and watching the scene unfold as I was making it. Thanks for looking! ~Karen.

Oh, my word. You totally rock at doing 5 x 7 cards. I do not know who would not love, love to get this card. Your attention to detail with the two little sandpipers thrilled me when I noticed them. The gulls are perfect as well. Love the flamingo's tail overlapping the hibiscus. What a wonderful tropical scene you have created, Karen. Into my faves!
