This is for Lisa's WTUI challenge this week - you'll be able to read all about it HERE.
I took a break from Christmas and thought of summer with this little teacup, mouse and strawberry flowers. It reminds me of a tea-set I used to look at and look at in a shop, only it had actual berries and not just the flowers. But I don't really use fine china, so I never bought it. And don't you love the little teddy tucked in under that cosy quilt! To go with the theme of the stamp I used the Pillow Top background from TLC479. I was lucky to find a snippet of blue lace matching the colours I'd already used on my image, so I added that and a few punched flowers to pick up on the strawberry blossoms. Image coloured with pencils, then sponged lightly with Antique Linen.
I'll add a sentiment when I know what I'm using it for...

Wow Sabrina, I have missed sooooo many fantastic cards. I LOVE THIS! The bg technique is one you featured a long time ago in a challenge and I have always liked how it looks, but I don't have the patience. What a gorgeous shade ofor green you used and the teacup mouse is too cute.
