After seeing Kathy's (muscrat) fabulous card which you can see here I smooshed and cased her for an entire month! Love the watercolor effect without actually having to watercolor! This one was easy. Smooshed the background, cut a Tim Holtz tree from shimmer sheetz and mounted. Added a few tiny nailheads and framed in gold Shimmer sheetz. Stamped the sentiment and embossed in gold. Thanks for stopping by.

Right here is what I'm talkin' about. I love gold shimmery paper. Your faux WC technique looks incredible behind your tree and sentiment. Wow, this is such a beautiful card. A show stopper, is what I would say this is, Nancy.

I'm in love! That tree die cut is soooooooo neat and, done in the gold mirror c/s...OMG!!!! And look at you - getting a fabulous picture of it. My gold stuff often ends up looking more black than gold in the picture. Faved!

This is amazing! The gold against the colors of the smooshing - oh my, that is just super stunning. I love the free flowing shape of the tree against that kind of background too. I may have to CAS this one!!! Yep, you're right, it would replicate pretty fast I should think! Well done!

The contrast between the soft background and shiny tree is spectacular! The colors are gorgeous - I am really going to have to try this and hope my results are half as good!

Miss Nancy, LOVE THIS! That tree is awesome! Then the soft bg with the sparkle of the shimmer sheetz. I am going to have to look for mine, but do not think I have gold! Must get it! This is one sharp card! Well done my friend! tfs

As others have mentioned; the contrast between the soft etherial background and your metallic tree is stunning! What a gorgeous card Nancy! I love the little nail heads and embossed sentiment pulling the gold from the focal point into the background. Your photography is bang on. Not easy to capture metallic sheen. Fantastic card indeed!

Love that smooshed rose gold background (a technique I have never tried). The results you achieved are lovely Nancy. And I love that you CASEd Kathy (muscrat) for an entire month! I'm sure she is very flattered. We could all learn from you that's for sure!
